1/04/06 is the first ep. And it was the new doctor (psychiatrist?) who was also arrested. But it appears Ms. Rodriguez is in major trouble. Most likely she's broken the terms of her parole in California and may be arrested for that.

And apparently it appears most of the cast have driving problems too.

New theory: the island is really a waiting area of the DMV and the castaways have all had their licenses suspended.

Isn't that just another version of the Purgatory theory?

P.S. Does anybody know what Anna Lucia (or whatever Michelle Rodriguez's character's name is) did before she got dropped on the island of doooom?

Anna L was a police officer prior to her trip. She had been shot and seriuosly wounded, during an encounter. This resulted in the loss of her pregnancy and her husband shortly after. A bitter woman, I don't know that we've been told what she was doing in Australia.

And of course Ana tracked down and killed the guy who shot her, so we have yet another murderer on the island -- is it a theme?

I'd like to nominate the death of Shannon as the moment where this show Jumped the Shark. I wish I had more time to get into the details, and I will once the holidays are over, but basically, what we've had since then is:

-- Ana Lucia's stupid and cliche origin story

-- The boring and predictable Tailies backstory

-- Kate's even more stupid and cliche origin story

-- Michael suddenly losing about 100 IQ points and messing around with the computer.

-- Walt's inside the computer (??????)

I'm going to watch the next episode. If it dosen't change my mind, that's it for me.

stupid origin stories and you believe a kid is "in" the computer, yep you've convinced me......that you went into the show with you're mind already made up and came out of it with misconceptions.

Gee, is this still Legion World or has it suddenly turned into IMDB? If you or anyone else ever posts an abusive reply like that to me again, I'm leaving this board permanently.

I put the question marks there because that scene confused me. I never made a definite statement that I think he's in the computer.

2. I did not go into the show with my mind made up. I have been following it for a long time, as I thought my previous posts in this thread would clearly indicate. I enjoyed the first season tremendously, and my enthusiasm has gone up and down over the course of the second season. I was bothered that Shannon died, and I haven't liked anything that has happened on the show since she died. That is my opinion, I was plainly stating it. You don't have to agree with it, but I draw the line at a reply as disrepectful to me as yours was. I often disagree with other opinions posted here, but I have never made a reply personally attacking the person I disagree with. That is what I feel you did, and, to reitirate what I said before, my future on this board is now in doubt.

Mods, let it be known that I am not pleased with this person's behavior, and I hope you take action.

i didnt attack you, i criticised your point of view, you're entit;ed to your opinion and if i dont agree with it i am going to criticise it. I'm not calling you an idiot with a moronic point of view, i'm saying that you seem to have jump to conclusions and have misconceptions about the show, the show is sci fi and it reflects in the show. Why you would cry because i criticise that is beyond me.

But, I don't think this exchange requires any sort of disciplinary actions. Stealth, I'm a little concerned that you'd dump an entire message board community over a few unpleasant comments from another member. I'd hope that the MB offers more than just this one topic. Unless this is some ongoing fued that I'm unaware of.

I would appreciate a little more civil discourse from the members in the future.

i dont feel i was harsh, maybe a little sarcastic but thats all. People like Stealth who deal in finalities end leaving anyway if not for this, for some other pseudo reason. I don't wish for stealth to leave but i am not going to apologise for something blown out of context.
Everything on the show was stupid and cliche and i disagreed. Stealth wondered if walt was in the computer, i think thats what set me off( not in a bad way, though it came out that way). In my opinion if some has to ask if walt is in the computer obviously is making a mountain out of a mole hill, no one wonders if walt is in the computer save one person who has supposedly been watching the show from the beginning. I understand his critism and i hope he understands mine, there is no ongoing feud between him and i, this is the first of it and hopefully the last.
some parts of this post may be considered an attack on stealth but i am just getting my point across, and maybe not in the best way.

Nightcrawler, I have no feuds with anyone, nor do I want to start any. My issue is this: Legion World is one of the few boards where I feel comfortable posting, because up until now, I had never received a reply which I felt was inappropriately rude and confrontational. I expect those kinds of replies from other boards (such as the IMDB boards, which is why I mentioned them before) but not here. If you feel that disciplinary action is not needed, I respect your decision. But if I feel that someone is out of line again, I shall say so. I have been a Legion World member for almost six months, and this is the first time I have felt it necessary to say so. Hopefully, it will be the only time.

And LABRADORIAN, for your information: I'm a woman.

maybe i should have been a little less harsh, figured you were a guy, i know your icon says different but i've seen female icons for guys on here before. I probably would have made my post a little less "harsh" if i had known, but i just took you for a crybaby guy.
feel free to post your opinions, i will still post my disagreements but now i know better, hopefully it will come across a little better.
That being said, i still believe you are being a little hyper sensitive, i meant no disrespect and if it came out that way i will watch myself in the future.

LOST is a little over a week away... rumour has it we lose another cast member this last half of the season.

New episode tomorrow. We had a Lost marathon this past week. Caught up on the whole season but the last episode. Closest to being caught up we've been in two seasons. Still one of the best shows out there.

The TV listings in today's local newspaper say that all ABC programs tonight, including Lost, are being pre-empted because of college football.

Maybe this is only in certain states and Florida is one of them.

ABC seems to re-run episodes of Lost frequently so that viewers don't fall behind. Hopefully they'll re-run tonight's episode.
