Stealth, totally agree. Its funny how Michelle Rodriguez seems to play Michelle Rodriguez in movies, although I *do* think there is potential for some great acting.
Pretty sure you're right and her name is Anna Luisa.

Funny, i thought Shannon and Rousseau were sparring for the title of "superbitch" as well...

And considering how many of these survivors have died, I'm not surprised she's testy. The show is all about delving into characters so I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more dimension to her.

They better not kill off Rose before she has a chance to reunite with Bernard!

I'm actually wondering if we'll get to see Rose/Bernard flashbacks anytime soon...

Have they found out if the black kid is a paranormal conduit, yet? The trick he did with that polar boy was kinda spooky...

Her name is Ana Lucia. And yeah if this group has had rougher times, more contact with "The Others," then I can see her taking a tougher command to the group. She is the hard core leader to Jack's reluctant man in charge. With the talk of her sort of breaking up the Jack/Kate couple, she's going to have to become quite a bit nicer tho'.
As for the polar bears, I'm not sure we can attribute them to Walt anymore. That movie Jack and Locke watched suggested the bears might have been there for other reasons.
I'm glad they brought Rose back, but it seems to be at the expense of the other ladies we've been watching. Kate is really the only gal we've seen consistently involved in every episode. I want to see more of Shannon's and Sun's back grounds. (BTW, Sun's grief seemed underplayed to me.)
This episode gave me a warm fuzzy feeling when it was all done. No surprise there, Hurley has been the show's light side since the beginning. The constant jump cuts between the past and present really showed the actor's skill at conveying emotion.
Manoman, this is the best show on tv in years.
Just spouting off.

I was thinking the same thing about Sun, but I think the actress (who I LOVE) was playing that scene with Sun in complete shock and withdrawal. We'll see.

When the back-of-the-plane people took 'our' Lost into *their* concrete structure (parallel tests?), Sawyer (I think) said something like "I thought there were 23 of you,"...
... the blonde back-of-the-plane lady (played by Cynthia Watros- a good actress which means this character *must* have some good scenes ahead- though you can't tell by this episode) replies, "There were."
I'm excited to see *her* scenes, can't say the same about the other 'new' gal. Can't stand this Ana Louisa character. Hope she meets a similar fate to that of the annoying teacher from the end of last season...

I'm more inclined to think that superbitch drove them out or they decided they'd be better off making it on their own. Unless of course they tangled with the wiley polar bear.

I don't know if they'll ever address this, but what were those guys doing with a big hole in the ground? It definitely looks man-made - but why did they make it - were they expecting prisoners? And if not them, then who?

When the teacher was accidentally blown up by the dynamite, did anyone else think of Wile E. Coyote? I did. I expected the Road Runner to show up from out of nowhere, stick out his tongue, and go "Beep Beep."

Vincent is still with Shannon. I believe he was seen with her as the food was being handed out at the end...

You are correct EDE.
I have to watch last weeks episode again, I missed part of the middle when I got a phone call.
I cannot wait to get ahold of the first season on DVD...I have a lot of catching up to do.
Active LMB character is still Beast Boy.

For what it's worth - iTunes has the episodes from season 2 available for download for $1.99/show.
I watched Season 1 in 6 nights. Season 2 is killin' me!!!
I was kinda disappointed that Jack pushed the button to reset the timer.
There have been a couple of bits so far that have left me scratchin' my head. But in all fairness, if I had to wait a week between episodes in S-1, I'd probably have done the same thing.
So far, I'm enjoyin' this!!!! SOOOOOOOOOO much more than I should.

I was happy that they slowed things down last week a little bit. I was getting a bit of sensory overload during the first two episodes this year. I had the feeling they were overcompensating for the underwhelming response to the season one finale. So far so good this year though.

Let me say this first...THREE WEEKS BEFORE A NEW EPOSIDE! THREE? THREE?
Other then that, another solid show. The actress that plays Sun is soooooooo good. I love that she got a scene with Claire, Jack, Hurley, Vincent, Locke and Kate! Flashback was good. We got to see how Jin and Sun meet. That was fun and it would make sense that both of them would be thinking about that moment in the situtation they were in.
Nice little flirting between Swayer and Ann Lucia too. Can't wait to see them back at the main camp. I think that the body Jin and Echo? saw -Goodwin- will be important in there flashback show. Creepy to see the others. What the heck is that teddy bear supposed to symbolize? Anyone out there figure that out?
THREE WEEKS! Argghhhhhhh.

Last night's episode was great, a total return to top form for this show.
I was glad to finally see Ana smile.

I think the teddy bear belongs to Rouseau's child that was taken by the Others.

Ana's reunion with Jack should prove interesting, but I'm more interested to see how she reacts to Locke. There are actually a lot of possible reunions coming up: - Michael and Walt - Sawyer and Kate - Jin and Sun - Rose and Bernard What are the odds all of these will work out?
