If anyone hasn't already guessed it from my current signature, my latest fave song is the psychotic Euro-styled pomp of Lady GaGa's "Bad Romance." I had to post about it after I saw the VH1 Top 20 Video Countdown this morning and found out that the song made the Leap of the Week, from # 14 to # 9. Here's hoping it joins the 20/20 Club (20 weeks in the VH1 Top 20.) Indeed. And there are certain scenes, like the dance sequence near the end, where she's never looked lovelier.
I looked up the director's videography -- his name's Francis Lawrence -- on Wikipedia. He also did one of my favorite Shakira videos, "Whenever, Wherever", the one where she's a nature girl.
