Yep. It is his new band. And the album is kind of a soundtrack to his autobiography.

An actual recommendation from iTunes based on my love for Evanescence. They're a band from the Netherlands led by Sharon den Adel. Yes, I'm fascinated with yet another female lead singer. "The Heart of Everything" is the album and I'm tracking down the rest of their discography. CJ, I totally agree with the Seether album. Excellent disc.

I'm surprised Within Temptation hasn't come up before in this thread. Have you checked out Paramore? They are more No Doubt than Evanescence.

Stuff I listen to daily;
Breaking Benjamin - So Cold, Polyamorous, Diary of Jane, Breath
Lacuna Coil - Enjoy the Silence, Heaven's a Lie
Hoobastank - Disappear, If I Were You
Three Day's Grace - Never Too Late, Pain, Home
I found out that Breaking Benjamin, Three Day's Grace and Seether on playing nearby this weekend and I'm kinda bummed that I won't be able to go. Last time these bands were in the area, they were opening for Nickelback, and I probably would have been one of those weirdos who show up for the opening act and then leave before the 'name' band starts up...

Are you talking about the concert in NJ this weekend? I wanted to go to that, but sadly NJ is a bit far for me to travel at this time.

I thought Paramore sounded familiar. Just checked them out on iTunes (preview thru my iPhone). Misery Business and Crushcrushcrush are heavily rotated songs on one of our local alternative stations. Might be worth picking up an album if they all sound this good.
I did track down all of Within Temptation's non-US releases. Mother Earth is particularly excellent. Can't believe I've taken so long to find them.

That's Not My Name, by the Ting Tings.
It's Toni Basil's "Mickey" for the new millenium.
In a good way.
Why are you laughing at me? It's unkind, as well as puzzling!

Back Door Slam - a young group out of England, with a bluesy sound. Think John Hiatt or Johnny Lang. "Roll Away" is their debut albumn.
Just spouting off.

I don't know what the song is called or who the artist is, but I love that song in the Wheat Thins commercial, the one with the bubbling synthesizers and the refrain of "Tell me what you want."

The song from FreeCreditReport.com. I've been singing it all day (up until my partner threatened to kill me) and actually liked it enough to look up the name of the actor who sings it. It's Eric Violette and he's French-Canadian.
F-R-E-E That spells free creditreport.com baby
Also, after waiting a few months (it was out of stock) CD Baby finally sent me The Daylight's Shift and Blur CD. Awesome. "Boy on The Moon" and "She'll Never Tell" are my favorites.

I'm immensely enjoying my two-disc Across the Universe soundtrack! It's chock full of really excellent Beatles covers!
My faves among them are probably "Let It Be", "Happiness Is a Warm Gun" and Bono's "I Am the Walrus".

A friendly "Curses!" to Ram Boy for being the cause of getting the "freecreditreport.com" song stuck in my head.

I dug out a couple of CDs Sonnie made for me a year or two ago, shockingly I've never gave them much time but there's a Boy George song 'losing control' that is beautiful on one of them and I can't find the album it's from, does anyone know?
Legion Worlds NINE - wait, there's even more ongoing amazing adventures? Yup, and you'll only find them in the Bits o' Legionnaire Business Forum.

You know something? "Strawberry Fields Forever" is definitely one of the very best of the best among Beatles songs!

Never Been Any Reason by Head East. Gotta love Google and YouTube! I've always loved this song whenever it came on an Oldies Rock station, but it was always at an off-peak hour and they'd never announce the artist. But a lyric search on Google+ an artist search on YouTube= longtime mystery solved! I also find it ironic that after gaining fame singing "Woman with the sweet lovin better than a white line" the original singer was kicked out of Head East for Cocaine addiction, and found God with his wife... talk about life imitating art. Anyhoo... killer song!

I love, Never Been Any Reason by Head East,One of my favorites.
And here's another one of my favorites, "Ah Leah" by Donnie Iris.
I don't know why, but I have a thing for One or Two Hit Wonders.
I tried to rip their soul out.I tried to make them forget Superman. But they won't.
