"Another Balck Day is Rising" by Another Black Day. I've been in a hard rock vibe for a while now. Anyone got any house mixes or club tunes I should be checking out?
Just spouting off.

My favorite current song's today is 'We don't talk anymore" and "Devil Woman" by Cliff Richard.
I thought these songs were his only hits,But just found out he was much more popular in the UK charts than the in the US.
I tried to rip their soul out.I tried to make them forget Superman. But they won't.

Silversun Pickups Well Thought Out Twinkles Now what was that scar situated from afar And what was that light integrated in your mind And what have you done it's too early for everyone Just wait for that sign spilling over and passed in time Come join in the last hurrah with open sores and open jaw And find one last flaw, keep it safe and free from harm And what have you done, it's too early for everyone Just smile, go inside, come and see there is no sign Now here we are revisiting A time, a place, a whole industry Well we promise we'll be leaving soon We share apocalyptic views How comforting that we see them too Who are we to promise we'll be leaving shortly Come join in the last hurrah with open sores and open jaw And what was that light integrated in your mind And what have you done it's too early for everyone Just wait for that sign spilling over and over and over.... I have a new least favorite..."I kissed a girl". That song has already reached my vomit indicing level i have heard it so much.
So much in fact that i have been reduced to switching to either sports radio or...country music to get away from it.
Last song to reach that mark, Dragonfly by Lenny Kravitz.
Damn you, you kids! Get off my lawn or I'm callin' tha cops!
Something pithy!

Just about anything by Ludo. Especially "Lake Pontchartrain" and "Love Me Dead". And I'm still rockin' to Sixx: A.M.'s Heroin Diaries Soundtrack.

I'm trying to get 30 Seconds to Mars The Kill next, but apparently I'm no Jared Leto...For me it's Weezer's "Say It Ain't So" and Bon Jovi's " Wanted Dead or Alive" that I can consistently hit 100% on. Others I get close but always mess up.

I'm really enjoying Scars on Broadway's eponymous debut CD! Scars is System of a Down guitarist Daron Malakian's new side project. It's a nice blend of punk, metal and straightforward rock. Not being too fond of most of the System songs featuring Daron's vocals, I was a little skittish, but it's a really solid piece. Both he and Serj put out great non-System albums this year! "They Say" (WARNING: it contains the F-word) is really, really catchy! Listen to it here for free on the Scars Myspace, along with "Chemicals", another good track. Let me know what you think! Honestly, I feel all 15 tracks on the album range from pretty good to great! Like with System, all songs are pretty short, averaging about 3 minutes in length.
Still "Lardy" to my friends!

Man, that new Chris Brown song is awesome for when you're driving in your car. OR, actually, for when you're at a bar and the ladies are getting down.

I have had two bizarrely disparate songs stuck in my head today: "Serenade," by Steve Miller and "Willow," as sung by Irène Jacob in the movie, "Othello". My subconscious is an odd place.

I had quite a moving musical experience this morning. Lying in bed, my alarm clock went off (I have it set to a radio station) but I didn't quite wake up. In that strange half awake/half asleep state I heard, for the first time ever, Bob Dylan's A Hard Rain\'s A-Gonna Fall . My mind sort of incorporated it into a dream, and when I finally woke up, I felt really upset, like I had lost something or someone close to me. I haven't been able to stop thinking about it all day.

"A Victory Of Love", by Alphaville. This band released its first album in 1984, and I turned 21 that year, but I only recently heard of them. I first heard "Big In Japan" a year or two ago on an Internet radio station, but it passed to the back of my mind, until I stumbled across it on YouTube, and it led me to other songs of theirs. I downloaded their first two albums from BearShare, and I liked them well enough to order them from Amazon. They should arrive in a week or so.
