I'm not sure if anyone's heard of the band but I really like them. Kind of like a cross between Lifehouse and Gavin DeGraw... or something... I really like them, anyway.
/ramble off I picked up their CD (how to save a life) a couple months ago. I liken them more to Train than Lifehouse, but yeah a great freshman effort. Currently, I'm in the midst of an Uncle Tupelo revival.
Just spouting off.

From the new Potter soundtrack, I'd recommend: The Wyrd Sisters - Magic Works
Other two tracks Wyrd Sisters tracks: The Wyrd Sisters - Do The Hippogriff The Wyrd Sisters - This Is The Night
I'd also recommend: Harry and the Potters - These Days are Dark

Not really a big fan of Nelly or Puffy's music, but I like the Biggie remix 'Nasty Girl' (really mainly Puffy, Nelly and Jagged Edge). Catchy beat!

Will I be ostracized if HUNG UP by Madonna is my latest favorite? It's got more hooks than a bait shop.
To somewhat salvage myself, my latest favorite re-discovered song is YOU'RE THE ONE by Tracy Chapman. "My mind's made up, it's not gonna change..."

I almost never reveal my musical guilty pleasures, but I can't contain myself anymore. I think Ashlee Simpson's "L.O.V.E." is awesome. I don't care that she's a fake and that she comes from the world's creepiest family. I think it's the best song Ace of Base never recorded. I also think (with apologies to Lash and other Gwen fans) it's the best song No Doubt never recorded.
And I also like Ashlee's "(Didn't Steal Your) Boyfriend." It takes me back to my early 80s grade school days (gawd, now I know how my Mom must have felt during the 70s, with all the 50s revivalism that was going on.)

Vee, 'Photograph' is the song I was talking about in my birthday thread. This song set me on a crying jag because it reminds me so much of my brother who died in 1999. In high school (before he dropped out in 1977) my brother used to get high with his friends and they took some pretty wild pictures of their adventures. He left behind lots of photograph albums with pictures of his friends and the trips they took, and concerts they went to and parties, and all their 'female conquests.' It's so great that a song can instantly make you think of someone and take you back to a special time. I love this song. Glad you voted for it!
