People are all the same And we only get judged by what we do Personality reflects name And if I'm ugly then So are you So are you
Remember : It's not technically a suckerpunch if you yell ''DEFEND YOURSELF SPROCKER!'' two seconds before you let him have it.

whilst on vacation, I came across some cool newish songs: The Modern Way by Kaiser Chiefs When The Sun Goes Down by Artic Monkeys If It's Lovin' That You Want by Rihanna
Also bought this CD over there with Comme Je Suis by Sinclair which really really reminds me of an 80s pop song...but i can't remember which one

James Blunt. "You're Beautiful." You're Beautiful" My life is brilliant. My life is brilliant. My love is pure. I saw an angel. Of that I'm sure. She smiled at me on the subway. She was with another man. But I won't lose no sleep on that, 'Cause I've got a plan. ... That song's been in my head for days now. And then a friend of mine tells me how the music video ends and it's way more depressing and sad than I wanted to know about ....

Cartoonist/comic booker James Kochalka's "Hockey Monkey" RAWKS! It's being used in the opening credits for Fox's "The Loop".

It started when they performed on American Idol. I thought it was catchy, so I downloaded and burned it. Then I saw the video on VH and now I'm obsessed and play it over and over in the car.
HIPS DON'T LIE by Shakira featuring Wyclef Jean.
I never knew that she could dance like this She makes a man want to speak Spanish
Shakira! Shakira!
I'm on tonight Yeah my hips don't lie And I'm starting to feel its right!

Not "new", but I played it this week and it just STUCK in my head and wouldn't go away, so I had to transcribe the lyrics... (pretty downbeat words for such a upbeat, bouncy song!)
"When I woke up this morning much to my surprise The sun was going down And I was still alive I looked into the mirror And according to my eyes The Martians have invaded It’s hopeless!
I went to see my doctor To ask him what to do Depending to the diagnosis I said, “Doc, I’m seeing double And how are both of you?” No cause for alarm It’s hopeless!
You don’t stand a chance, it’s hopeless EVERYBODY DIES!
Well there’s paradise and doomsday It depends on which comes first There’s inner peace through medidation There’s optimists and pessimists I don’t know which is worse Oppy yuki maw maw oppy yuki maw mah It’s hopeless!
The solution has been disolved The crisis has been resolved There’s no need to change your plans It’s a hopeless situation For tomorrow is another day And everything will be okay And by the way… it’s hopeless!"
"HOPELESS" by Joe Walsh & Richard Starkey (1982)

Artic Monkeys--I Bet That You Look Good on the Dance Floor
Bruce Springsteen--Thunder Road (from the Live at Hammersmith 1975 album, just released)
My Doorbell--White Stripes (I know, older, but not "Hooked on a Feeling" older!)
Blackalicious--Powers, Side to Side, Your Move (The Craft is a really great album for anyone looking for great rap lyrics that don't denigrate women or talk about cars and rims)
The whole Thievery Corporation and Bloc Party albums--not a bad song on 'em!
The only consistent feature of all of your dissatisfying relationships is you.
Don't judge me!

The album I'm playing the most, at the moment, is "Never Loved Elvis" by The Wonder Stuff. A real blast from the past (1991 it was). My favorite song, at the moment (it changes all the time) is another oldy. "I'm no Superman" by Lazlo Bane(The Scrubs theme). What can I say? It makes me happy.
Be lucky
