I'm in full Cult mode lately... I've got the 6-cd RARE CULT boxed set sitting by my monitor, and their last four studio albums in my car-- with THE CULT from '94 in my player.

My current can't-get-it-outta-my-head song is Bleeding Heart Graffitti, a late-80's b-side previously unavailable in the US. I wish this track had been on the SONIC TEMPLE or CEREMONY albums...

They have a song called "Action Figure" that I think is tremendous.

My fave song right now is "Ever Fallen In Love?" by The Buzzcocks.

Looking for new stuff to burn on a dance-ey CD, I discovered some goodies:

Digging the Photex remix of Gwen Stefani's Cool. Didn't realize ATB had remade the Opus song, liked what they did with teh Olive song way back when. One Word was a fave easrlier this summer.

Speaking of which, have you heard the new Danger Doom CD featuring guest shots from most of the Adult Swim characters?

I think I heard the Space Ghost one but I'm not to too familiar with the Adult Swimmers. Are those the meatball and fountain soda and french fries guys? I do like DJ Danger Mouse...

This is unusual for me, because I don't really know any current songs - but I've been listening to the radio lately and I'm enjoying "I like the way" by the Bodyrockers. Not normally my taste in music, but it's catchy.

i've actually just downloaded it off iTunes i think it's so cool, and great return to form from MADONNA !!!

and although i really enjoyed the "AMERICAN LIFE" album, i like my MADONNA to be more DANCE / POP !!!

The three you menation are the Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Meatwad, Master Shake, and Frylock. Those characters, as well as Brak, Zorak, Harvey Birdman, and the Sealab 2021 crew all have guest shots on the disc.

Lash, I'd say its a fun blend between the popier light Cardigans albums (First Band on the Moon and Life) and their darker stuff (Gran Turismo). The song isn't nearly as somber as Long Gone Before Daylight stuff...go to their website to check out the song/video.

Lash, I mentioned this one month's ago and it is still cranked when it plays on the radio. Just something about this one keeps it tops with me.

i've been trying to get the Claudia Brucken cd from the mid 90's [ with 'Kiss Like Ether' on it ] i used to have it on tape but lost it years ago .....
