I always liked the Killers. I enjoyed their kinda neo 80's sound, but when I saw the video (and therefore *heard* the music) for "All These Things That I've Done," all of a sudden I had a new favorite song! I LOVE it! Can't listen to it enough. I've even sung it at karaoke already.

I got this neat CD "Punk Goes 80s" with covers galore. Forever Young by So They Say, Everyone Wants to Rule the World by Jamison Parker, and funny cover of Paula's 'Straight Up' but I forgot who...
Oh yeah, and I just saw Michael Bublé in concert so I'm groovin' on my Bublé playlist right now...

Remember : It's not technically a suckerpunch if you yell ''DEFEND YOURSELF SPROCKER!'' two seconds before you let him have it.

Fame hasn't changed them at all, they were and are such nerds. (and I'm so old) Steven is involved in left-wing politics up here. The time I met him he was going in to the constituency office of the NDP (Social Democratic Party) member of parliament who's also party leader.

OM your taste in music is tasty! I loved Tracy Thorns' (Everything But the Girl) vocals on 'Protection'. I think she does another song with Massive Attack but I forget it at the moment. Tamper Lad, that's cool to hear. I know Steve's outspoken about a lot of causes, I think he's a big Toyota Prius fan isn't he? recent additions to my 80s/old school playlist: Doo Wa Ditty by Zap and Roger - this is so funky, i might just break out in dance here at work Little Girls by Oingo Boingo - is it just me or are the lyrics a little...messed up?

She also sings "Better Things" on the _Protection_ CD, but I'm not sure if that's the one you mean.

OM, I think that was the EBTG/Massive Attack song I was thinking about...
Ezra did like a new album and a greatest hits CDs I think like last year/earlier this year. the single is definitely catchy.
I'm seeing Natasha Bedingfield (performing along with Maroon5, Josh Rouse and Billy Idol) at a concert next month...
New and older songs in heavy Monkey Eater rotation: Motion City Soundtrack - Every Thing Is Alright Kaskade - Steppin' Out Beck - Electric Music and the Summer Texas - Summer Sun

New (and old) favs: Gold Digger - Kayne West/Jamie Foxx = hilarious lyrics I Will Follow - Death Cab For Cutie = (slightly morbid) sweet song Going Gone - Black Eyed Peas and Jack Johnson = neat combo Candy - H.O.T. = Korean pop song. I first heard this when I was in the dorms - I don't know what they're saying but I gets me in a good mood...

Paralyze -Bob Mould An Honest Mistake - The Bravery Over My Head - The Fray (this band sounds like Train) Don't Stop Me Now - Queen (I've got the Shaun of the Dead thing going right now)
Scooter, do you have a website for researching song lyrics? You have a knack for finding them, and I'd hate to bother you (LIE!) everytime I'm looking for something.
Just spouting off.

Except when I'm at work since Darklyrics and AllTheLyrics are blocked for profanity. Then I just do a quick search based on the lyrics and artist (when I know who). Just a research thing, something I love to do.

I'm addicted to Lambchop right now - 'Up With The People' is a tremendous song - lovely, lovely, lovely! The singer, I believe, is called Kurt Wagner - hows that for a fanboys dream? Has a dreamy voice too.
