For example, how do you justify dropping Clemson from 10 to 17 when they lost to a higher ranked team (Florida State was #4 and the game was @ Florida state) and yet you only drop Oklahoma (who was #6 yet lost to #15 Kansas State at home) from #6 to #16? To me it seems as if OK should have dropped much lower or Clemson much less so. Also, how do you justify dropping LSU only one spot (from #2 to 3) when they just barely beat unranked Auburn by 2 points, and not move Florida State up from #4 when they beat 10th ranked Clemson? I would have dropped LSU below FSU, Georgia, South Carolina AND K State, who are all at the same 4-0 record as LSU but had quality wins. "Hey Jim! Get Mon out of the Zone!! And...when do we get Condo back?"

Meanwhile, West Virginia racked up more points than seems plausible but also totally phoned it in defensively. I'll think about these for a few more days but my initial thought is Texas exposes WV in a big way.

It was gut-check as they could've let the wheels come off after last week's disappointment. Still "Lardy" to my friends!

Ohio State / Michigan State was a good game too. Both teams were very evenly matched--played great in places, made mistakes in others. And how about Penn State? Who would have thought they'd turn things around like this. Their coach deserves a man of the year award if it continues. I'd really like to see them have a winning season and make a bowl game.
