BTW, you can do a very accurate version of Validus, even with the old char creator. I have a pic posted of my version on the Vee's Legion thread over on the Bit's forum but I copied it below so you can see what I mean.

I had just went to hunt that pic down Vee. Thanks. I'll probably change him up with some of the new options (like the visible brain) but I could use the basic guide yours provides.

We stickin' with Legion-inspired villains for this group, or anything goes like on Virtue? I'd love to create a nerdy-looking plant/thorns named SuddenlySeymour.

Of course you could make SuddenlySeymour for the Virtue SG. You'll need a replacement char to play when Grev gets to 50

Actually, I did wonder if there's an
ax brute... but I'm tired of the invulnerability
powerset and nothing else would really work for
the Persuader...

No, no axe powerset in brute. But if you want a brute, Titania would be fun! Or Ol-Vir, or Terrus as a stone brute. But maybe the best would be Mano as an energy/energy aura brute (with red glowing hands during each punch )

So heroes will get access to the villain powersets too? Hadn't seen that.

Or is that a a Stalker comb...damn, the boards are still down and I can't check the power sets.

Well, I guess they wouldn't be villain powersets if everyone can have them.

I don't think so. Heroes and villains are each supposed to have a few powersets that the other side doesn't have access to. Dominators get no illusions and controllers get no nature connection.

Actually, you'll need to make him as a villain and then have him switch sides. There will be a mission (kind of like the cape mish) in which you can switch from hero to villain or villain to hero. Don't think it will be available in I6 yet but they said it would be available shortly there after. You would still be a brute and have access to only brute powers but you would become a hero (or still a tank but become a villain. etc)

Well, he will eventually have a giant man-eating plant as a pet, so villainy could be the way to go.

How To DOWNLOAD City of Villains for the Head Start

Please carefully read the instructions below to download City of Villains for the head start. To find out how to set up your per-order PlayNC account, please read this post.

If you HAVE City of Heroes:
- Launch City of Heroes. When you exit the game, you will automatically begin downloading everything you will need. This refers to the 1.6 Gig dowload we all got last week. This part is already done.
- When the head start begins, open City of Heroes. There might be a small patch but after that you should be ready to play.
- On the Character Creation Screen, select an empty character slot and you will be given the choice to create a hero or a villain.
- Select villain and you will be ready to play in the City of Villains head start!

If you do NOT HAVE City of Heroes:
- Download the ZIP file here.
- Extract both files into the same directory. You may create any directory you want, we recommend a directory entitled “cityofvillains”.
- Once you have extracted the files, double-click “CoVUpdater.exe” to begin downloading/installing the client.
- After the download is complete, you will need to double-click the “CoVUpdater.exe” to launch City of Villains.
Note: To make launching CoV easier, you can create a shortcut on your desktop to “CoVUpdater.exe”.

I thought Lady Memory was green...?

She's from the same planet as Grev, & Tas, Talok VIII, she's blue.

Hmm. I recall her as being part of a green
race in Who's Who In the Legion when it came
out...

Nope, though her picture and listing is directly above that of Lamprey (who was green) so that may be what you're remembering. And she is dressed in green, but she IS blue.
