^Sounds like a sure bet I think, EDE. ***** would certainly be jealous of the two badasses hooking up...!
My own spoiler speculation based on comic thought:
Click Here For A SpoilerAssuming the prison story plays out like the comic and they encounter that same 'Gang of 4', expect Suicide Beth to take the role that Herchel's twin girls had in the comic.

I felt bad for poor T-Dog, who was actually trying to do something sensible before he had to take the annoying chicks back to their families!
Though, considering he made it through his first episode in ages with a significant amount of dialogue, I can't feel too bad for him!

MLLASH - I posted that same theory re: Beth and the twins on the last page. When it comes true I will share the credit with you if you like though. Re: the final episode - loved it! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better than the crappy season 1 finale. No surprise here seeing the two who died go. I was glad Herschel and especially T-Dog lived to fight another day though. Moment of silence for the RV too. I always liked that vehicle in the comic. It had a more epic send-off there though. That whole farm mayhem scene was really exciting actually. I wish it had gone on for longer and had more tense/scary moments but I guess that would've required a two hour episode. I loved the way the cast scattered in different groups; and even though most of them got back together before the end, it's still exciting that Andrea is still out there somewhere. Which brings me to... Michonne! Now, anyone who's read my posts in the comic thread knows that, unlike 99% of TWD fans it seems, Michonne is FAR from my favorite character in the book. And it's precisely because she's such a fake, comic-booky, Quentin Tarantino-esque character in a world full of "realistic" characters (minus the zombies) that I don't like her. So I have been dreading that her introduction to the show will be a real shark-jumping moment for its carefully constructed tone. And I am definitely not surprised to hear that it's had that effect on some people. But personally, I really liked it. Next season will tell how over-the-top, Tarantinoey they make her but for the moment, she was a really surreal, unexpected WTF-type surprise for a show that hasn't had one in a while. Those types of surprises were the thing that made LOST the epic show that it was and I'm glad to see that TWD is able to pull them out every now and then. Now, book spoiler predictions for next season - Click Here For A Spoiler Do we think we're going to meet the same four prisoners we met in the comic? I think the writers might change it up a bit there. I even wonder if... *crazy controversial theory ahead*... Tyreese might be one of them!?! It just seems like we're running out of time to meet him and I doubt the writers would completely drop one of the two pre-eminent black characters from the comic. Unless Andrea and Michonne meet him on the road I guess. If we do meet Axel and he's as likable as he was in the comic I hope he lasts longer then. Speaking of deaths, the show is missing a LOT of characters who died in the prison - Allen, the twins, Tyreese's daughter and her boyfriend, Tyreese, Billy, Patricia, Otis... anyone else I'm forgetting? Even if Beth and maybe T-Dog ( ) die sometime before the big finale bloodbath that's still a pretty light season deaths-wise. I wonder if they'll surprise us with any more major non-book deaths. Like maybe... Carl?!? His growth since last season is starting to look pretty obvious and they're gonna need to do something about it eventually. Maybe he'll die instead of Lori in the finale? Or maybe that's just my wishful thinking? Anyway, already can't wait to see season 3!

One thing that stuck in my mind is how great Andrea's journey was this season. She went from a somewhat annoying character (especially for me since she's my favorite in the comics) to gradually transforming into a strong, fantastic character I've wanted her to be all along. She's not quite the ultra badass sniper she is in the comics (with added pessism), but that makes it all the more enjoyable. Laurie Holden, the actress herself, has gotten more likeable for me as well.
It reall clicked when she choose to side with Dale (after several episodes of subtle changes), and in this finale we saw her being intelligent & capable, with some bravado to boot.
I'm glad she's finally gotten to this point.

I'm glad she's finally gotten to this point. It's funny how people's experiences are so different. In the group we get together to watch with, Andrea is pretty reviled, followed closely by Laurie. It made the confrontation between the two of them earlier this season fun to watch. "I don't know who to root for here..."

She thought it was a shark jumping moment to include a sword-wielding ninja type character. She'll wait and see what is further revealed, but she felt it didn't fit (based on having no knowledge of the character). Well to be fair ... the books jumped the shark quite often .... it's true ... but it always turned out to be worth it and/or make sense. TWD excels at *jumping the shark*

Great Glenn Mazzarra article! I'm totally pumped now!
Love the glimpse at season three. And you can totally notice a tonal shift when he took the reigns mid season.

I do hope though that character development is not sacrificed for total shock value. Not saying that it has been so far, just that week after week of shock after shock would be...well, actually kinda cool for a while.
heh...

I honestly think Zombieland will rediscover it's origins and be on television by mid season next year. Which would be a good yin to TWD's yang.

heh... I'd agree with you if Darabout had interesting character development going for him, but he really didn't, especially in Season 1. A lot of characters moved forward on concept alone. I think they've been fleshed out much better int he back half. They're not all likable, but they're certainly more realised.

I kinda said that as a joke, cause yeah...not much of anything really happened there character wise. Some things did, but not enough.

Best suprise 'character better in show than in comics'? Maggie. She's really been really fantastic!
It helps that the actress is great. And that I've got the hots for her.
Also great was Herschel (though I liked in comics already) and Otis (better in his two episodes than in the 25+ issues in the comics).

I think he was referring to a straight up Zombie thing, and not a mash up like that. I could be wrong though.

I kinda like Being Human. First saw the english version on a few eps, but then I liked the american version. Haven't seen all of them, but I like what I've seen okay enough. Not great, but not horrible by any means. I've seen walking dead a few times, Carol is a fan so I gotta watch with her, lol. Glad the guy doing the really sucky southern accent is gone, though. Stick to a jersey accent.
Damn you, you kids! Get off my lawn or I'm callin' tha cops!
Something pithy!

Wow...a potato peeler is the best your dream could do.
At least when I had mine years ago, I had an ax. Thing is, it was one of those odd dreams for me where I was me, and everything felt real. Like, real enough that I remember certain things to this day, and it was probably over 20 years ago.
The heft of the ax, the feeling of hitting the zombies. Totally wild experience.
