When the games are done right, it's a lot of fun, but I've been disappointed in a lot of them.
Nintendo seems to do a pretty good job with their games-- Super Mario Galaxy is very fun, for example-- but a lot of the third party games seem to be bound and determined to make games more complicated than they should be.
I'm going to give up on some of the fancier games and stick with basic games or Nintendo only produced ones now, I think.

I'm still loving my Wii and having lots of fun with it.
Right now the games I have are:
Wii Sports
Wii Play
Super Paper Mario
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
Super Mario Galaxy
Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games
Mario Party 8
I've also gotten around a dozen games for the VC.
My Girlfriend and I play Wii on a daily basis when I'm not working, and we're having an absolute blast doing it.
Sidenote: anymore Lwers interested in exchanging friends codes?

I feel a need to brag. I have been playing the tank game on Wii Play and have beaten level 100 several times. Anyway, I was playing last night and I didn't lose a single tank until level 60! Is that cool or what!?

If you do, I can recommend some good games to pick up. The most recent one I'm obsessed with is Epic Mickey.

Epic Mickey is pretty awesome... I don't know what I'm doing half the time and I seem to be failing more "quests" than completing them but I'm a Disney nut...

Lucked into a post-Christmas WII for $179 and did indeed get it.
So far I've only played the bowling and put Facebook up on the internet part.
Time to explore some more---

My favorite games are Mario Kart - I love playing online, and racing people from around the world. My vr rating is usually between 8500 and 9000.
Also, I got Endless Ocean 2: Blue World for Christmas. I think I am playing this game maybe 10 hours a day. I gotta get a new routine! (Well, maybe; I love it!)

If you haven't already played it on PS2 one of my most highly recommended games for Wii is Okami. It's a real masterpiece. I love it so much I bought the art-book for it the Capcom booth at SDCC'09. A sequel is coming out on the DS later this year.

Just want to point out that some libraries (including mine!) have Wii games. Honestly, this has saved us so much money. Instead of buying or renting a game, try it for free, and only buy the ones you really like and will keep playing. Our library also has DS games, which means my kids get new games all the time and I don't have to put out one cent for them. I really should send our library a thank you card...
