I know I've said it before but "Who is Sensor Girl" is one of my all time favorite Legion sub-plots. It was somehow fitting that the sole survivor of the "Shooter's Four" kids would turn into a badass. I really liked that Projectra a lot.

What's the link between Projectra and the inklings (besides Phil Balsman, space-letterer)? They appear to be using the same language, described by Cos as Rokyn or ancient Kryptonese - or maybe its just the same alphabet.

Now that her parents are dead, shouldn't she be Queen Projectra? Even if her planet is gone, wouldn't she be ruler over any embassies, off-world assets and remaining subjects?

Not necessarily FC. Orando might be a society where only males can inherit the throne.

Or there may be an elder brother or sister still alive. (or has it been confirmed she is the only child)

If there are competing Houses for the throne, then they may have been accepted as monarch in place of the discredited House Projectra.

Finally and I am at work without my comics to look at, was her father ever called King this time round? Maybe the planet is a Principality rather than a Kingdom?

Didn't Cosmic Boy call him King as the planet was being destroyed?

You got it, jimg - one of those text bubbles in the middle of the panel that I tend to overlook. Which doesn't rule out various succession problems - one hopes that Orando won't just be swept under the backstory carpet.
