They totally threw me off with the flashforward fakeout.

Not as awesome as the first few episodes of the season, but pretty cool nonetheless.

I'm very worried re: the someone is going to die line. I'm betting it's one of the newbies, but Claire and Jin are real possibilities as well, given what we know on the basis of flashforwards.

I didn't buy the fakeout. I called it. I'm actually a little disturbed by that! Honestly, though this season has really been terrific, pretty much all of the twists have been easy for me to predict. I guess being fooled by Jack's flash-forward last finale taught me to be more observant.

As for who's gonna die, I'm guessing they won't be going for someone easy. Claire and Jin would be obvious candidates from what we've seen in the flash-forwards. Michael? It would certainly be understandable, but I feel like he wasn't brought back just to die after a couple episodes.

We'll see...

By the way, didn't they advertise this episode as revealing the last of the Oceanic 6? By my count we have Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid and Sun. That's five. If I'm remembering the promo correctly, then Aaron must be counted as the sixth.

If i am not mistaken, The actor who plays Jin had to learn Korean for the role. They had Jin and Sun speaking Korean because the actress who plays Sun could speak Korean.

I still don't consider Aaron one of the 6. He wasn't on the manifest for crying out loud!

It's possible it's Ben. Since we see Sayid working for him in what I assume is the "future". Of course who knows with Ben, he's a wily, snaky, creepy creep.

As to who is dying, my first reaction is that it would be Jin, but yes, that's probably way too obvious.

I keep turning down offers to go out on Thursday night just so I could watch this frustratingly wonderful TV show. I should just watch on-line but it ain't quite the same.

Ben wasn't on Oceanic 6... or was he????

You never know, he's a crafty guy. (I was kidding LAB, it just doesn't translate well on screen). I should have said "Insert ominous music" at the end, for drama.

It may just very well be Michael.

Just watched Thursday's episode finally. It was so worth the wait. Sun has long been one of my favourites and this episode was Emmy worthy for the acting, sequencing and writing! I just wish I hadn't come across spoilers about Michael's return.

I too am confused about the 6th member of the O6. Aaron doesn't make sense. It could be Ben who takes on the identity of someone who was supposed to have died on that flight, hence, how he manages to "appear" on the original manifest.

You know, when the episode first started, I said to Lady Cobalt that "hey, I bet it won't be Michael or Jin--it'll be Karl". Of course, it was telegraphed, so I'd suspect many others picked up on it.

I'm glad Michael is here for awhile now. Sayid had a very understandable reaction.

Always awesome to see the Others and now the Freighter people in flashbacks. Tom is one of my favorite Others and he was cool here. Have to remember though that he's as cold and heartless as Ben when he wants to be--he did say they should have just killed Sayid, Jin and Bernard in last season's finale.

I don't think Danielle is dead. Mainly b/c we have to see her flashback and some scenes with her and Alex. Though now I expect that flashback to occur almost right away when the season resumes. Which would be hella-awesome.

Karl was an alright character for what he was (his one great scene is with Sawyer last season where Sawyer talks about feelings for 'those special kind of women'). I really like Alex though (she's my major Lost crush).

Its still a toss-up over who faked the crash, Ben & the Others or Widmore & anyone else with him. It can go either way, really.

Great to see Libby make some appearances. Looking forward to her story eventually.

I like Michael's character and feel some real sympathy for him. But in the end, he'll have to get his comeuppance for what he did (and he knows it). Hopefully it'll be a heroic scene.

PS - looks like we were right. Aaron is one of the Oceanic 6

Michael definitely went up a few notches in the sympathy department this episode!

I'd say it's almost certain that Danielle isn't dead. I was a bit surprised by Karl's death (largely because I completely forgot there was a death coming). It seems to me that we still need to figure out exactly where he came from.

A strong episode for sure! I'm going to miss it the next few weeks until it comes back!

Hm. I never considered until now that we need to know where Karl came from. You just gave me a 'hit myself upside the head' moment, Eryk! That's very curious indeed.

TV is basically going to suck for five weeks for me. There's not one single show I watch right now besides Lost. If anyone has anything you think might interest me, please divulge.

PS - Ultra Matt, Naomi (don't know her real name ) is sooooooo hot, especially in the flashback this episode!!

Was that a stand-in for Walt? Or did they recycle something from a prior season? That brief flash we saw of him certainly didn't match how he looked (older) last time we saw him in Locke's vision.

it is aaron, after the show the promo for the the april show shows who the six are, and aaron is there.

Yeah, you can see now they purposely left it confusing to through us all off with Jin last week. Now that's been revealed, so they've confirmed Aaron is one of the six.

I should have thought Karl but I was guessing Miles. Neither of them had been in the last few episodes, so seeing either of them had that "Chemical King makes the cover and dies" vibe going on.

I just watched last week's and last night's together. JIN?!?!?! Karl?!?!? Danielle?!?!?!

Did I see Karl's death right- it looked like they popped his brain after the initial shot. Very cool.

Danielle is playing possum, I'm sure of it.

This week was more filler, telling how Michael got back in the story. Why did he tell Walt what he had done?

Seeing Tom off the island, it's pretty obvious Ben comes and goes when he wants. I'm sure he's still living on the island in the future; he was just giving Sayid some new orders and updates.

I really enjoy Medium (although they have horrible opening credits) And this season has had Anjelica Huston guest-starring and not as a cameo role but as a semi-regular character. It is on Mondays at 10 on CBS.

I recommend Pushing Daisies!

Oh wait... it's not back until next season...

It's a relief in a way. Allows me to curb my unhealthy TV addiction for a few weeks. Or to catch up on some movies. Probably to mostly to catch up on movies.

I thought the revelation that Tom is gay was interesting. Not particularly relevant but interesting.

I can't say my sympathy rating for Michael went up much. He's always been portrayed as a bit of a looser. Maybe he will redeem himself at some point and save them all. And yeah Walt totally looked fake.

Her name is Marsha Thomason. She was a co-star on NBC's Las Vegas for the first 2 years it was on (2003-2005). She played a pit boss.

I liked Naomi. It was a shame Locke decided to just kill her rather than shoot the dang radio out of her hand (would have been a better solution to destroy it so no one else could have used it).


And back to the whole 'Oceanic 6' thing, I still wouldn't consider Aaron one of the six, but I guess ABC has a different interpretation.
