I think Fables would make a fantastic series. I agree that Gotham Central would work well.

Challengers of the Unknown could work, as well as things like Cave Carson or the Sea Devils.

You know, with the Nolan Batman trilogy coming to a close soon, I wouldn't mind seeing a live action Batman tv series. The one thing I wouldn't want to see, however, is another origin story set at the beginning of Bruce's career. I'd set the time frame similar to that of the current comics, with Dick grown up and many of the "classic" Bat-villains reformed and used as supporting characters/informers rather than direct antagonists.
