Caroline is already on there as Willow. I may go back in as Spike.
Not sure on Vee. He didn't mention anything last night before logging about not being around today.

Hmm... still no Vee? Hope he's okay. It's not like him to not appear in Paragon City.

Mike found the following exchange in one of the exemplar threads on the CoH boards. Apparently, this is just the first phase of their exemplaring system, and problems should be fixed later.
Positron: Barring Exemplars, you can log on and off of a Task Force as much as you want. You still stay on the team. This was made so that you and your group could do a Task Force over the course of several sessions.
Website User: So, why in the world did you implement a system that keeps Exemplars (and their aspirants!) from being able to do the same?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Positron: That's easy. We never intended Exemplars to go on Task Forces with the current system. We have a much bigger system (read: more time to implement) that solves this, but since the players demanded the feature NOW, they got the current implementation. Exemplars are part of a bigger system. The players got a taste and wanted a bigger bite. Since the bigger bite wasn't ready, we had to tide them over with a less-than-optimal snack.
As for Vee, no posting and no playing? That is cause for concern. I hope he didn't have a relapse of whatever problem he was having before.

Thanks for the concern guys but I'm okay. Here's why I wasn't around yesterday... After work, I went to vote and ended up standing in line for almost 3 hours. By the time I got home it was it was alomost 7:30 PM. As I rounded the corner onto my block, I came across a sea of flashing lights...police, fire, EMS, etc. Somone had missed the turn (Apparently going way above the speed limit) and smashed into an old oak tree that had been weaked by the hurricanes. It came crashing down ,tearing up the buried power lines that serve our neightborhood. Presto...no power! It took the responders another hour before they cleared the accident and then the power company began working on repairing the damage. We finally got power restored at about 6:30 this morning (don't know what took them so long although it looks like they had to dig up quite a length of cables) Needless to say, no power, no CoH! (I'm getting to be an expert at surviving a lack of power) Today was a madhouse at the office so this is the first chance I've had to get online sine yetserday. Thanks for worrying about me. See you all in Paragon!

Glad everything's OK, Vee.
So, Virtue or Infinity tonight? And when will we be switching to our new day for Legion Night (which sounds like it'll be Thursday)?

You need to buy yourself a generator, Vee... that way you can play Paragon no matter what! 8-)
If we're going to do Legion tonight, I vote for Infinity because we haven't played there for a while and I still need to get mutate for Star. I got an e-mail from Grem asking about it, so she'll problly be able to join us if we go to Infinity.
Tonight's not a good night to start the TF on Virtue because it's the Smallville/Lost night...
If we're not going to do Legion, I could use a team to work with Bluette. I still need to get her up to 14, and she's picked up some debt in Steel Canyon so her slog to 13 is gonna be slowed down. Much as I hate the place, I think I need to do some more Hollows' mishs to get up to 14.

We can play Infinity as long as someone doesn't mind sk'ing Lightning Ranzz. He's only a 6.
I think we can move Legion night to Thursday whenever everyone is ready. I just realized that Garth is only about 2 bubbles from 20. I'd like to get those last 2 before we start up the TF again.

Where did my last post go? It was before Blue's post about Kara and Star. It showed on the last posts list but isn't here.
Anyway, Caroline won't be available for about an hour. So I'm working on Garth, clearing out some debt he's earned soloing and working on those last 2 bubbles. Got half of one of them already, even with debt.

33 more xp in debt to work off and I'll have only 1 bubble to go for Garth. I'll join you guys as soon as I get the debt cleared.

Hit it! Now to figure out what power to take and then see about a new costume before getting a cape.

I need an opinion. For Garth's Adventure era outfit it will be basicaly impossible to do an exact dupe. Do you think this is good enough, remembering that he'll have a blue cape to go with it once he can get some help with the cape mish. Or should I drop the black (black is only supposed to be on the sides of his chest, with the front white and the left arm all blue) and go with blue instead?

I think this is the look I'm going to go with. A lot closer in design if you don't count the missing black.

My vote is for the second one as well, buddy. I know how much you hate black and yellow. 8-)

No, I don't hate black and yellow. I prefer black. But I am a stickler for accuracy. Should the new Garth (or Lightning Lad since I don't even know if he'll be called Garth) winds up with an outfit that's black instead of blue, I'll change to the team colors. But for now I'd rather not. Just a personal preference.
BTW, how hard is the cape mission to do by ones self? And is 88,000 influence enough to buy a cape? Just wondering. That's about how much I'll have left after changing my costume. Adding a robotic arm cost me an arm and a leg. Sorry, couldn't resist.

I had help with the cape mish for Blue, and it was a bear, but I think that Vee and Seymour can better tell you how hard it is to do. Vee did Condo's solo.
I think that Andrew's whole new costume only cost him about 30k of influence, so I wouldn't think that a cape would cost anywhere near 80K.

The 30K include the cape? Just the costume change for Garth is 21,320.

I didn't get a cape for Andrew. Didn't suit him.
Blue's cape was really expensive, but I think that higher you are, the more it costs you to do something for your character.
Just do the mish now, and try to get the cape. Once you complete the mish, you can get the cape at any time. You'll know how much it costs you once you go to buy your ensemble. 8-)
I'd help you with it, but Vee said that it was more a job for someone with hover and a distance attack, so I'd say you need a blaster to go along with you.

Must go to bed now...
But I just wanted to say that everyone on the Infinity Legion leveled today who played, and I got Star up to 15. One more level and then I get mutate! 8-)
Go rez! Go rez! 8-)
