That sounds about right, but I wonder if they're doing this update in phases, as I hoped they would... do some story forshadowing, put in the gameplay changes then roll out the new zones/foes.

Well, I won't be home until 6/6:30PM PST, which would be 7/7:30, but after that I'll be good to go... just don't go after the Clockwork Lord without me since that leads to the Babbage ambush.

Have any of you seen pictures of Babbage or the Clockwork King? Babbage looks huge!

We can try it tomorrow night but I do have to work on Saturday at 8 AM so I won't be able to stay on too late.

Any idea of how he compares to the Kraken, which was just a really large hydra?

I have to be in at 6:00 am on Saturday so I won't be playing too late either.

I think Babbage is a bit taller but they've redone the Kraken since my first time seeing it, long before the badges. The Kraken used to be earthen in color and almost taller than the wall surrounding Perez Park. Now he's green and much shorter.

I'm currently planning on playing on Freedom tonight with one of my mythos character (either Requiem Fil or Eidol Mage) Look for me if you decide to play there also or post here where you want to be.

That sounds great, I've been itching to play with Kiri-Kimi.

Before I work out I'm going to be working on
Blue Battlette. I want to get her up to 12 so
she can pick up teleportation. That'd be
handy when we have to do mishs in the Hollows or
anyplace else that's bad news for our lower
characters. After I work out, I should be able
to join you on Freedom. I'll have to see who I
want to play. I haven't playe Flame in ages...

So what time do we want to start TF tomorrow?
The earlier the better, I would think.

I think I'd be hard pressed to be ready to do the TF by 9:00 PM. I WILL be on, just don't know what time.

I got Flame up to level 10... finally. Now
she's got three attacks. 8-)

So what time should we plan on doing TF?

I suspect something big is happening. With no notice they just shut down all the servers. And I was with three lvl 50's who were trying to kill a bitch named "Mistress Diana" (a carnie queen, illusion thingie) who was lvl 51, and could spawn giant male Phantasms that were also lvl 51. I did learn that superspeed and invisibility in combination made me completely invisible to them, even though I was only s/k'd to a 36 at the time. But damn, no notice. So theya re probably installing the Halloween stuff right now. That's all I can figure.

oh, P.S., I tried to take screen shots so you could all see the stuff I've seen today. But, who knows, I am no technology person. If Scott can print them, maybe he will be nice and do it for me

I'll see what I can do with them when I get home.

And on that note, the message boards for CoH are down. Have been for 2 1/2 hours now for maintenance that was to last 2 hours. They are deleting old messages that have not been responded to in 14 days. I think of lot of useful in formation wound up getting deleted today.

I'm going to hop on as Princess P for a few minutes to check it out.

They've been doing this for a few weeks, now, about two weeks before the re-organized the board. I believe they've declared the Guides section under special rules (and, therefore, posters are directed to put their guides thee) tho I'm not sure if it's totally immune from purging or not (some purging would make sense, I mean "The Guide to Defeating Tons and Tons of Villains with Smoke Grenade" might as well be deleted).

Guys, get on ASAP.

I don't know what was wrong with me last night,
but I feel much better now. I'm still as weak as
a kitten-- a level 1 Hellion would prolly give me
a run for my money!-- but I'll take that over the
chills and fever any day.

Do we want to try to work on TF today? If not,
I'd like to work some more on Infinity and get
Star closer towards 16. I'll probably also spend
some time working on getting Blue Battlette on
Triumph up to 12 so I can pick up tp for her.
