Lyle, I think you first need to think about what Brainey needs in order to be able to progress before you consider what might be useful to the team for a TF. I made that mistake with Cosmic Rokk and ended up having to reroll him completely because he couldn't function successfully on his own once I got him past lvl 10.
If energy is your secondary as a defender however, I wouldn't bother with what you'll have available in energy melee at this point unless it's power burst (don't think you get Sniper Blast in the secondary set.) Your already have power bolt, power blast & energy torrent I think. (Mind you I'm at work so I'm working from memory on power selections)
I'm pretty certain that I took TP at 12 for Mysa, then flight at 14, then back to Empathy for Clear Mind at 16.
One caution about Dispersion Bubble. I think it is a stamina hog and will leave you drained quickly until you are able to stack some end reductions on it. If I'm not mistaken, the more baddies is affects the more stamina it chews up.

I don't think you can go wrong with flight, myself. Hover works fine for letting you pick off the baddies at a safe distance when they don't have ranged attacks, but flight is what saves your bacon when you're about out of end or have bitten off more than you can chew. Few baddies can chase you once you take to the air.
We do need someone with TP in the Infinity Legion. I want it for Star, but I can't see taking it anytime in the near future unless I decide to delay Stamina a bit. Right now, my plan is for Star to get flight at 14 and mutate at 16, and then start on the fitness path.
So which one do we want to play tomorrow? I'm good either way as I can work on getting Andrew up to 18-- and invincibility-- or Star up to 14 and flight. 8-)

Hey! Guess what! I decided to take my Infinity version of Varalent out for a quick spin just now. Just as I logged on someone announced a costume contest was about to start so I figured "what the heck." and entered him. He won and got 20,000 inf!

Hm, in that case it may not be very useful at first... perhaps I should focus on getting another def buff enhancement in my bubble powers and more offense to contribute to battles?
So perhaps I should go for a third blast at 12 and TP at 14? I'm thinking I could use Personal Force Field to get me to boss rooms and TP the rest of the group (I'm thinking we'll need two people to provide such a role if we do smaller TFs).

Congrats, Vee.
And like I said, I'm fine with the Virtue Legion if that's what we want to play.

Congrats on winning the costume contest Vee! I have won a few of them and it is really fun. I won with cat girls on two different servers and I won a look-alike contest with my Dana Scully char. I entered Mtn Dew Pitch Black in a contest offering a million in influence and thought I was in the top five, but alas, no. My other reason for writing is to ask you players with greater grasp of tech then I have to take in my meandering and figure out how we can use the information to our advantage. This is it, sorry I can't explain it, but I don't understand it myself!! This is what happened to me last night. I had a little baby elf char who was an 8. I ran into one of my friends who is a 36. She invited me into a group of 36-50's who had run into an anomele. She said there is a glitch in the program and on high lvl missions if you keep running around touching the glowies you keep getting max exp for your level. At 8 I started getting 77 exp per glowie they touched. By the time Scott screamed at me to go to bed, I was up to lvl 16. Yes, I cheated the game. Yes I was not a true hero doing this, but dammit, it was FUN. It was a rush. I wish Tasmia could do it

And to be honest, I don't think that's cheating the game. Given all the nerfs and restrictions they place on us, I don't think there's anything wrong in exploiting an advantage when you find it when it doesn't hurt anyone else.

Hehe! Coincidentally, my time expired as well. When I tried to log on earlier I got the message that my account had expired and I need to contact support for help. Caroline, you and I must be on the same membership cycle. (And yes I did resubscribe so I'll be on in a little bit!)

Hey, all. It was fun bustin on some Tsoo tonight. After everyone logged, I did some solo missions and got the Vaz disease mish. Anyway, my next mish has something to do with going into the sewers and incinerating bodies. My contact made it sound as though Dr. Vazhilok himself would be there. Is this the mish where he appears? Can I beat him at lvl 18?

I think that Blue wasn't really any higher than 18, so I think you'll be able to handle everything up to the last mish ... but you'll most likely need some help on that one ... at the very least, make sure you carry as many blue's as possible ... oh, and a few pinks as well because the final boss is an Eid ... I can't remember for sure whether or not it's a lum or a murk or mire. I want to say lum ... But if you can, make sure to take a healer along with you ... you're going to need it.

Woot!!!! Mysa helped Pete on his mish until we had only Dr. Vahz, a reaper & an Abom left. Just in the nick of time Grev logged on and joined us in defeating the Archvillain, Dr. Vahz!!!

Did Pete get the zombie plague?
Well, guys, for a brief time tonight I was a millionaire influence-wise. Blue leveled up to 27 tonight, and I had that much in influence before I went to the store and bought him some new enhances ...
Half a mill later ...
All I have to say is that level 30 SOs are darn expensive. 8-)

We got to defeat Dr. Vahzilok himself tonight!! Great stuff! How would I know if I did get the Zombie plague? I hope someone would tell me. I hope you all aren't talking about my blistering, pus-oozing sores behind my back without telling me that they're there.
First storyline I ever completed and I got a choice of 5 different types of SO's to choose from. I got a lvl 21 Damage. Plus another 1,000 in XP! Great night for Pete!

Hmmm....are you sure that hasn't been tweaked somehow? It sure seemed like Pete was suffering lingering effects even though there were no flies or glow. For about half that mish it seemed like Mysa's heals were having very little effect on Pete.
As you know, she can usually keep one person alive with no problem. Pete came close to dying a number of times and did die at least once. By the time Shadow Lad joined us however, the heals were having a much greater impact on Pete. Good thing too! It took everything Grev & Mysa had to keep Pete alive while we took out Dr. Vahz.
