I know Garth hasn't gotten his. Its not right to make us do it again to earn the badge. Although I wouldn't mind getting another SO for doing it. As long as I didn't collect a lot of debt.

As long as I didn't collect a lot of debt. It is a lot easier with a smaller team, as long as you've got balance. Captain Hottie's team took about six hours, with some ineffienct moments of waiting. Since you've all got travel powers it shouldn't be so bad. Originally posted by DMSpeedy: Anyone for Synapse TF on Wednesday? Uuuhm, I'd love to but I'd rather avoid another Wednesday night where my boyfriend has to tell me what's happening on Lost as I play CoH... any chance we could do Synapse on another night?

Just a thought but can Positron be redone? Since it is the only TF I've completed I'm unsure if you are allowed to redo them (any of them) once you have successfully completed it.

Prism re-did the TF and the only problem was that he lost his Positron's Ally badge and had to re-earn it... so if you start to re-do a TF you've got to finish it. Once they fix the exemplar system, you'll be able to re-do the TF as many times as you like.

So we're planning on Virtue Legion tomorrow night?
Blue hit 26 tonight-- and finally got stamina!

I don't know why I do it. For all my talk of wanting to go far with one character I went and created a new one on the Virtue server. Get ready to meet RADIATION ROY!!! He's a rad/rad science defender. I already have him up to level 9 just doing door missions. Didn't take long at all. And for once, I'm actually following the storylines a bit. Anyway, I'll try to drag him out some time tomorrow so you all can meet him. His costume's a bit ugly, though. Pink and green were just not meant for some people! So now I have Roy, Pete, and Silver Slasher on the Virtue server. Can you tell I like the obscure characters?

That reminds me, I need to start playing Gigi more, and I went ahead and created Atmos on Virtue as well.
Just created Jo and Ferro on Infinity too

So which are we playing tonight? My Garth on Infinity is only a 6 but I have other characters there, I think, I can use instead.
On Virture Garth is only 15 since I haven't been able to play him since the last time we got together. That still isn't high enough for Synapse is it?
I just need to know because I'll need to arrange for Caroline and I to go to my game store to play from there. We'd be on around 6 Mountain (5 Pacific, 7 Central, 8 Eastern). Would that work with everyone? It also gives me a chance to pick up the Teen Titans/Legion special tonight too.

Works for me. 15th level is the lowest you can enter the Synapse TF with. But it sounds like you guys are interested in redoing Positron.
Cool with me. I've got Doc Nimbus up to 15th.. he's now The Daring Doc Nimbus! *hee hee*
I'll pop a tape in to tape Smallville, and I'll be there at 7 central!

If 15 can do Synapse. I'd rather do that. The XP should be good, and it's shorter than Positron. Maybe we can even finish it in one night.

The XP is ALOT better on Synapse. I took Arendio from 20th to 21st on it.

If it is shorter than I'd rather do Synapse too. We'd only be able to play a couple or three hours at the best from the shop anyway.

We can try to do Synapse.
I'll have to use my VCR to record Smallville because I'm DVR'ing the new Frankenstein mini series on Hallmark. 8-)

We are off to the store so I won't have access to e-mail or LW while there. We'll plan on meeting everyone on Virtue.

Sorry, guys.
I switched over to Triumph after that and Blue didn't have any problems running a door mish with a friend.
Vee, I'm telling you, buddy ... as soon as its' possible, get recovery aura for Mysa. That power pretty much negates the need to have stamina.

Sorry to hear about the problems with Virtue last night. I had a crazy day at work that enflamed my tendonitus, partly because I didn't get to take time to rest and when I got home I figured I'd better not get on the computer.
Maybe we could do Synapse this weekend?

We discovered that unless we're all level 19, Synapse will be as hopeless as Positron was when we first tried it. The first mission opens with 20-level clocks. Even the 17s didn't do well. Luckily, nobody had to die this time for us to give up.

Has anyone heard why the door missions were messed up? The rumblings I heard said it was something to do with the teams so that if any member of a team entered one, the who team got kicked. Haven't had a chance to log in since though to check things out.

I'm thinking it's the size of the team for the TF. We had 7 last night, similar to the 8 we had for Positron. I really think we should try this we two small teams of 3-4 rather than one large team. We can continue to talk back and forth in SG chat and compare notes even though we all may not be on the same team.
The size of the team definitely affects the size of the mobs that will be encountered. As an exmple, the Outcat Hollows mission we did last night had large numbers of mobs. Lar did that same mission alone the night before and only had to deal with one or two guys at a time.
Just my thoughts
