Mostly 15-17 which Condo can handle on his own and I've also gotten very good at flying away when appropriate.

I'd like to try that XP farming with the Virtue Legion. Anyone else up for that?

I am! I want Shadow Lad's cape!
What's the big deal with badges? Is it just a collecting thing, or do you get something for them? I thought I remembered seeing something about trading them in for XP or influence at one point before the update.

Seymour, completing some of the series of badges get you additional hit points, etc. Others give you additional powers, like a Crey Pistol (taser-like) which is a permamnet addition to your arsenal.

BTW, I did some more XP farming this afternoon for about an hour and Condo is now up to his first bubble + at lvl 19! It's very fast and very simple to do.

I can't play tonight, so I'll have to join you another time, Tuesday or Wednesday.
And now it looks like I'll be going badge hunting too. Oy!

Tonight or Wednesday would be fine. Prism and I are supposed to work on getting his kinetics defender up to level 6 so he can see what siphon speed is like, but I don't know what time is good for him yet for that.
How high do you have to be for that TF?

I think that we should try to do this fairly soon because I saw people talking about it in broadcast the other day, so you know if it's becoming public knowledge like that it's only a matter of time before the developers find a way to nerf it ...
Oh, and Seymour, I can't see any costme for Andrew needing a cape, but I'm willing to help Grev get his cape just for the experience of trying the mish out ... I DO want to get him a secondary costume, though. 8-)

All the things they put us through ... grr. I had Grev on a team this weekend, and we were doing fairly well until we did the Tsoo relic mission. I dind't recognize it, or I would have bowed out. That thing's nigh impossible, between the 50 million caltrops they throw out and the seven mind-control guys lined up at one point (stunned, hit, hit, hit -- two steps -- stunned, hit, hit, hit -- one step -- stunned, hit, hit, hit -- dead.) I had him halfway up to 17, and now he's got debt out the wazzo again.

So. Jade is doing an early 5th Column mish and boy is it cool looking. It's got these flags and lots of red decor plus these control panels that look like something KOBRA would have. They did a good job on this one.

At first I couldn't figure out how to open the dang doors! But it is pretty spiffy there. The Hellion raid on a rave now takes place in the same set they use for the dance club. It's neat.

Vee, Prism, what time are Marvel Lad Lar, Mystery Man, and Colorific going to tackle the second headquarters at? Same time as last night?
I've read about facing Bedrock, and we really should try to carry a few disclipines with us ... and awakens!
Anyone else up for playing on Protector tonight?

This thread seems as good a place to ask this non-COH, but computer-game-related question:
Has anyone tried the new SIMS 2?

Has anyone tried the new SIMS 2? Heh, I've looked but considering that it was a relief that The Political Machine didn't get along with my video card... I'm too addicted to CoH. From what I'm hearing I'll probably become equally addicted to Sims2 when I eventually get it. Anyway, Prism's got the end of a Vaz story arc... any chance I can recruit some help on it? It involves bombs set to poison the city's water system and I've been told they need to all be deactivated at once, which I'm guessing means I need a team of three with everyone positioned by a bomb clicking on their glowy at approximately the same time.

Hey, neat. At least your Vahz arc doesn't involve being hit with that damn Vahz plague ... that sucked like you wouldn't believe ... in fact, one of Blue's souvenirs is the hyop that was used to cure him of the plague ...
I'm willing to help Prism, but I don't know if we can do it tonight. Depends on if we can XP farm the TF before the inevitable nerfing-- and yeah, I'm a pessimist!-- but I'll help when we get a chance to do it.
Hey, Vee? What level is Mysa now? If she's lower than Condo, you might want to run her during the XP farming ... get her leveled up some too. 8-)
I really want to get XS leveled up some as well ...

So where are we playing tonight? Infinity or Virtue? If on Infinity I'd like to play a different character than Lightning Ranzz. Either Cadet Bannin, a level 8 Ice Blaster or Snake Plissken?, a level 11 Natural Blaster (Assualt Rifle/Devices). I've come to realize that once a Lightning Blaster starts to pick up debt he's almost impossible to get out, even with a team. Their damage ratio and accuracy just sucks compared to other blasters.

Shadow Lad just picked up this mission last night, so he'll be happy to help. I wonder if it'll count toward both of us, like the farming missions usually do. As to when, I would like to do some TF XP farming. as I agree that it will probably be nerfed, though how they can do it without being mean to people who actually want to finish the TF will probably be a challenge. Scott, either way, I think we'll be on Virtue tonight since both these scenarios involve those characters.
