...and looking at the Issue 2 update, we get introduced to the Rularuu, who (like the Ritki) come from a different dimension. Hmmm....
(I'm so excited, at least, like the TF, until I get killed a bunch of times. Maybe I'll sign in as Prism and go invisible.)

Speaking of issue 2, where do we get it? The web site says it can be downloaded when you log off, but I haven't seen that option come up.

It should start automatically when you log off of CoH (not "To Desktop")
If you typically leave your computer on, it's probably already downloaded without you noticing. If not, you'll need to log off and let the window open up again (same window as when you fist log on)
It will automatically dowmload like the weekly updates do.

I wish they'd give you an actual date for the installation so you'd know when all the fun would begin...

Yep! Infinity Legion. We need to start strategizing for Task Force Trinity.
Hey, there's an interesting strategy I've been hearing about on the CoH boards where a team maxes out the roster and then splits up to hunt. I don't get the theory but they say the XP is better that way because of the dynamic. (Maybe there's less chat going on in smaller re-groupings, but someone is always taking up the slack when there's an END rest needed.) Maybe we could try that out as we try to get a feel for different rosters in smaller TF teams? We divide the group one way, get a feel for that then meet up and try it another?

Wildfire-X is at lvl 11. I haven't done much with him cause I didn't know what lvl everyone else was at and fugured I'd keep him between 10-15 for any TF's that might come up. I can be around after 7pm west coast time if you guys haven't started any TF yet. If not maybe I can catch up with anyone else who might have been too late.
Go conquer the universe for me...for the god whose image you have carved your own homeworld as a monument.Go... for your master... For Darkseid!

I can see how this would work. Most zones don't normally have huge mobs lying around. Of the zones I've seen, that seems limited to Perez and Boomtown. So you've got two teams of four running around spawning and defeating groups of 4-6 instead of one team of 8 running around and beating up groups of 6. Plus the factors of shorter potty breaks, etc. We should give this a shot tonight as we hunt.

You can run into big numbers in IP and Talos, I think ... I did have a strategy I wanted to try myself tonight ... I wanted to see if the Lead Bricks were just inherently resistant to our holds or just needed massive locks on them ... But we can find that out some other time. 8-)

But we can find that out some other time. 8-) Actually, I figured we could test that out at one of the points when we re-gather. I figured if the split teaming works the first time we try it, we'd try different arrangements, gather together and split up differently, to see which ones worked best... I'm thinking tonight's all about testing various options and figuring different hold effectiveness would be a part of that.

Man tonight was fun. I know we didn't do the split up thing like we talked about, but I think we established that the Infinity Legion is one nass-kicking organization!

Yes it was. I locked down an Eid! *singing* I locked down an Eid! I locked down an Eid!
heh heh.
I think what Infinity Legion should do next is hunt Hydra in Perez Park. If our controller types can hold those, that could be an easy way for us to wrack up some points ...

I'm so mixed on issue 2... I'd prefer to have had a chance to play with the unfixed Smoke Greneade but there's so many nice features. Over at the CoH website it says: EMERGENCY BROADCAST Thursday, September 16, 2004
NOT A TEST
THIS IS A PARAGON CITY EMERGENCY BROADCAST. PLEASE STAY TUNED....
"The Paragon City authorities have detected numerous dimensional disturbances in the area. Heroes are asked to be on alert for any strange occurrences in the city."
Yep, we're being invaded. Perhaps we need to call an emergency meeting of the Legionnaires of Virtue? (I think they're out strongest batch.) Damn, this interferes with cleaning, doesn't it? I'm supposed to finish before the boyfriend gets back from he airport. I'm gonna have to reasearch my thug lock, it's supposed to be able to hit bosses, but I wasn't able to last night, so I'm hoping an extra acc enhancement will help that. Or perhaps I should go to Galaxy City and see if I can lock a lvl 4 Eid.
