Actually, my question is if the clocks were far enough from the door that Doc and I would be safe just standing at the door (on the inside) -- that, if group invisiblity wore off we still may escape their notice, providing we don't move.
However, I realized Doc and I (and maybe our next lowest level member?) could enter with group invis. I'll activate Superior Invisiblity for myself and then Doc can exit and wait for the TF to sign on.

That would work, too, Lyle, if it comes to that. It sounds like you get blasted as soon as you're spotted.
Scott, that's a good question. I know there's a minimum to start, but I don't know about during. I think one of Vee's earlier posts talked about peopel starting with the minimum and then dropping out so there were only two or three. But we do know that Vee was able to enter the building and peek in all by himself Monday night, so I think we'll be OK.

It requires a mimimum of three members on the task force not on the mish. I was able to enter the building last night to check out the levels. Since I was the only one logged in, the clocks were level 16 unlike Sunday when they were level 17. So if Doc & Lyle enter while no one else is logged in, the initial group near the door (which I understand is the highest level group) should set to a lower level based on their average levels. Outside doesn't appear to be problem, the clocks I saw outside were level 7. They didn't even acknowledge my presence

And to answer Lyle, you will get blasted as soon as you are noticed. Hopefully the invisibilty will last long enough for the rest of us to get back. My impression of your group invis is that it was lasting about 90 seconds or more on Sunday night so that should be plenty of time.
I didn't move at all when I enetered and a sprocket walked up to me with a plank on his shoulder and started blasting. Rather than take a chance, I clicked on the door and exited immediately (though I REALLY wanted to just blast the hell out of him but that probably would have gotten everyone else's attention.)

In that case, why don't we have Doc and I enter with everyone else logged off and group invisibilty activated. Once we enter and get the level of the mish set, I'll activate Superior Invisibilty which only turns off then I turn it off. Doc exits, while I stay in and keep the mish from resetting. When everybody's back on, get in and we'll hit the battle.

I've done something like this before on a mish, and I think that the mish will rest to a hirer level once the rest of us log on and get in ... but it could make a difference right at the door, though ...
And Vee, I've been meaning to say this ... I think the rest of us should kick in some influence to Mysa. I know that I could use some more catch a breaths and a couple of healths for Andrew, but you shouldn't be footing the bill for all of us on that ...

Something else else else, guys ...
I was playing with Grem last night, and she told me that she liked playing Super Kara but that she got a lot of comments from other players that she didn't like.
No one in our gang, but rather from other players. A lot of it was people not thinking she had a right to use the character, calling her a thief, etc ...
Now none of the characters we play really have the same recognition as Supergirl, but I was wondering if anyone else had gotten any comments like that ...
And also needed to vent before I tried to figure out how to give out some virtual punches in the nose ...
*GRRRR*

Blue, I'm pretty sure that it will readjust by the next group we encounter but since this mish is front loaded, I'm hoping that we can get past the first group (set at a lower level) before it resets. We should be able to handle the rest. Worst case scenario, we have to battle level 17s Clocks as soon as we enter. We shoulkd all be prepared for that tomorrow night. And regarding the inspirations. We can worry about that when we get done with the TF. Mysa doesn't mind helping out her friends. Since she can't help out directly, this is her way to contribute. (But she'll never turn down an offer for mad money! )

Quick note guys while I'm still remembering it.
I won't be able to play this weekend. I'm visiting the folks for Labor Day and won't have access to Herocrack.

*GRRRR* That's really rotten. I remember she was getting some rude comments about Red Haired Girl, too. There's no reason to do that. My first instinct is to report them, but I don't know how her doing an homage to that character would go over with the bigwigs. Saturn Lady didn't get any comments from them when she reported TF trouble, though. Anyway, I haven't gotten comments like that. The few times my Legion characters have been recognized, they thought it was cool and were interested in possibly joining the group. I hope she doesn't let these jerks get her down.

Just so I'm ontime tomorrow night, it's a 9pm EST, right?
Did anyone get an idea of what the map layout is of the Clocks mish? If there is enough space between clocks encounters, We can just hide out until the rest of you guys can get there.
Oh, another thing, sometimes with my connection it takes awhile for the missions to load initially. I'm not sure if 30 seconds for you guys to log back on will be enough. Let's say a full minute.. and we'd still have 30 seconds of invis left.

Guys, I'm sure that Vee will be posting this soon, but we came up with an idea for a SG group that's based on the mythology of COH.
For example, I'm creating a fire/stone tanker called Charcoal Brickette who's the daughter of a female scorcher and a brick. Grem may be playing a dark melee scrapper called Bone Daddy'sGirl... (I suggested the name so I'm very proud of it!) ... I'll let Vee and Caroline tell you guys what they want to play.
Lyle, you were the one with a Clockwork Queen, right? What server are you using for that? We thought we'd use that one...

I'll probably pass on that group. Too many other characters who don't get play. I just don't have it in me to do all the different characters you guys do. I'd rather stick with a handful of them and just alternate.

Oh, and I may be a little late for the TF tomorrow since I'm having to work 12+ hour days the rest of the week. So unless I can motivate my butt out of bed in the morning I won't be home until after 9 pm EST.

Does that mean that Gung is going to see action again someday? [/b]Actually I've been thinking of deleting Gung and starting him over. See if I can get him on a faster track but not focusing on his ligtning powers and getting him on the health path earlier. I just don't know yet if I can bring myself to do it.

In the meantime, this is why I didn't join you on Infinity Sunday. Two gaming sessions (Sunday afternoon and last night, maybe 6 hours total playing time) and I have a new Legionnaire for the Virtue squad ready to go. Meet Dirk Morgna, my 10th level Fire/Fire Mutation Blaster.

Or maybe I'll just try to get Gung up to 24. Have you guys seen this latest change coming up with issue #2? Power Re-specification “The Terra Volta reactor has been running beyond full capacity for quite some time. Heroes who venture within it may experience untold side-effects…”- Your first respec opportunity comes at level 24.
- You need a group of 4 people to get the Terra Volta Task Force, this TF will be tuned to the highest level person in the group.
- Upon completion of the Task Force you will be given a choice of Reward. If you have not received your respec yet, you can choose the respec as your reward.
- When you have chosen the respec option, you will receive a badge symbolizing that you have received the respec available in this level range.
- You must then locate Jack Wolfe in the Freedom Corp HQ in Galaxy City to perform your respec.
- When you choose to respec your character you will be artificially leveled down to level 1. You must keep your Origin, Archetype, Primary, and Secondary powersets, everything else is mutable.
- Starting at level 1 you re-pick your first two powers, then at level 2 your third power, then you place enhancement slots at 3rd, and then 4th, picking another power. This process repeats itself until the character has respecced himself back to their current security level.
- You have the same restrictions in powers and enhancements that you had when you first leveled up your character. In other words, a character built ”perfectly“ from level 1 to 50 will not be at a disadvantage to one that was respecced.
- Once you have re-chosen your powers, all of your previously slotted Enhancements can be slotted again. Enhancements that are un-slotted after this process is complete (possibly because you don’t have a power they work with any more), are then refunded for full Influence value.
- You can redo the Respec trial at 34 and again at 44. Each time you need a group of 4 players to be issued the Task Force. Each iteration of the Task Force will be against a different villain group.
- If you ”skipped“ a Respec, you can still get it. Basically you can have up to 1 respec to level 33, 2 respecs to level 43, and 3 respecs to level 44 and higher. If you are level 44 when the respec feature is added to the game, you can run through the trial 3 times and get 3 respecs of your character.
- Respecs can NOT be traded to other players. You must earn your own respec.

Hoo boy, lots of posting this moring.
DM, yes, Legion World Night officially starts at 9 EST, but we're glad to have you earlier or later.
Blue, I'm glad Grem wasn't getting any nasty comments last night. Maybe it'll help if she thinks of it this way: She's having a great time playing with a fun bunch of people. Their lives are so pathetic they have to resort to trying to make other people feel as bad as they do. She should pity the people whose lives are so empty their only form of enjoyment is being mean to other players.
As to your new SG. The idea sounds pretty cool, but I'm going to pass. I don't want to spread myself too thin. I really want to see what the characters I've got can do.
Scott, that respec doesn't sound all that great. Sure, I could get rid of a power I wound up not liking, but I wish you had the option to switch powersets. I really liked Chillflare (my ice/fire blaster), but he seemed fairly weak and it didn't look like he'd get much better. I wish I could swap him to fire/ice so he'd at least have a snipe power.
And Dirk looks cool. We'll be glad to welcome him into the Virtue group.
And if you don't make it tonight, we'll understand. With all those 12+ days, sounds like you could use some sleep. Take care of yourself first.
