All set! Everyone post your list on the thread titled "City of Heroes: The Official LW/LMBP Roster of Heroes" I would suggest that we make links to the pics instead of posting them or that thread will get to be almost as long as this one. And don't forget to keep it updated

Thanks for the PM, Vee.
I'll put together a new list tonight. I created myself a "tracker" so that I can keep track of which characters haven't been played in a while.
Any suggestions for the name of a character I've been thinking of? She's a robot created by the Clockwork King to be his companion, but she eventually turned against him. The current name going through my head is "The Gear Queen" but the gear part seems kinda undignified for the consort of the Clockwork King. She's gonna be an invul/strength tanker, so Telsa Queen or Cannon Queen seems inapt.
Course once I figure out a name there's always the chance it'll be taken....

Okay, I got my "account expired" e-mail. I've been prepared for this and pre-ordered a sub card but I think I'll put off renewing until I get some stuff done, first. (I've got to prep the boyfriend's welcome home late night snack -- he's coming too late for dinner -- and finish making some of the stuff I've prepped and didn't finish, like that tomato sauce I started before the tomatoes ripened. Most importatnly, I think I'll try to finish my webpage so I can show off my CoH designs.)
So I probably won't get to team with any of you tonight before you're all asleep but I should have my characters up by tomorrow, if all goes well.

I got to play COH for about 10 minutes last weekend.
I didn't create a character, and I only had time to master movement, and I never did figure out how to actually attack anything, but I could see how this could become an addiction.

If you can pump him up somewhere between 10 and 15 by the 29th, you can join our taskforce. Until then, any of us would be glad to sidekick you if you see us online.

I didn't create a character, and I only had time to master movement, and I never did figure out how to actually attack anything, but I could see how this could become an addiction. It definitely can. I seriously had a reality check Sunday when I played for nine hours straight. My hubby is a serious online gamer, and I would get quite annoyed with how much time he spent playing. I never understood the appeal of the games over "real" interactions. I also did a story about online gaming addiction for a parenting magazine earlier this year and was amazed at some of the stories at the stories of "Evercrack" and how easily some people get sucked in. I never thought it could happen to me. I think Sunday was a fun fluke. It was a weekend of total slothfulness in general, and I didn't have anything more important to do. But when my hubby (with a bit of real concern in his voice) said he's never spent nine hours on a game (a fact I highly doubt since I can't tell you how many weekend mornings I've gotten up to go to the bathroom at 3 or 4 in the morning and he's still playing, though I never actually clocked him) except at a LAN party, it made me think. Maybe Scott has the right idea to give it up for a week just to be sure he still can. I don't know. I don't think I'm at any dangerous level, but I will be keeping a closer watch on myself. Sorry for the rambling -- just something that's been weighing on my mind this week.

And when I checked my time, I figured I'd been playing almost 12 hours!
Still, I don't feel that I'm addicted. I had my reality check when I went to the San Diego Comic Con. Didn't even twitch. I did miss some of my online friends, but I didn't miss the game itself.
But taking a week off wouldn't really do any harm to anyone. Shadow Lad is about as high as he can be for the TF anyway, so you don't have to level him anymore.

(Anyone want to make other Peanuts' characters for Freedom?) I might do a Linus character there (Van Pelt? Been awhile since I read the strips). I don't currently have anyone on Freedom so plenty of space. But it'll have to wait until late tomorrow when we get back from our gambling trip. So you have a pic of good old Chuck to share?

Charlie must have bulked up in high school. And the answer to Vee's question is yes. He is the son of my Slade Wilson.. (one period at the end of his name due to it already being in use). Caroline has Arizona Wilson who is Jericho's daughter, an original character created in one of Blue's RPG games.

So what's the backstory on this Peanuts group? You have a fun one for your Gilligan's Island group.
Since Scott's claimed Linus (rats! I played him in high school when we went to elementary schools and performed the TV specials), I'll be Lucy. (And yes, Scott, it is Van Pelt.)

Hey, after all those years of being picked on, the poor kid went 'roid on us. ;-) And yeah, as Scott said, Joe is the son of Slade. I made him a psionic controller because that seemed closest. The costume isn't perfect, but I did the best I could...

I actually played Snoopy in elementary school, the only time I've 'treaded the boards'. Linus was just the first one that came to mind. You can take him if you'd like Seymour.
I could play Schroder. If I'm remembering his name right.

Thanks, Scott. I'll try and play with costumes and see what comes out. I'll have to give some thought to what Linus would become. Lucy would probably be a scrapper, since she's so crabby. Or maybe a mind controller, since she's so bossy. Linus, hmmmm. Whatever he is, he'll have to go to 20 so he can get his security-blanket cape.

I haven't come up with one yet... Maybe the gang went through a bad phase where they experimented with Superdyne in high school?

Caroline has Arizona Wilson who is Jericho's daughter, an original character created in one of Blue's RPG games. Cool! They'll fit right in with my Titans on Triumph! I spent a little time setting them up last night before watching the Olympics. I have a WonderKid (male version "son of" Wonder Woman & "cousin" of Donna Troy, with her red & gold Teen Titan pantsuit outfit), ...a Capt Marvel Jr. (named Junior Marvel) and a Grant Damage. I'll probably do one or two more. (Like you couldn't guess that! )

I like the Superdyne idea.
Now to figure out who to play. Who do we have?
Charlie Brown (taken) Linus van Pelt (taken) Lucy van Pelt Rerun van Pelt Patricia Reichardt (Peppermint Patty) Marcie Johnson Schroeder Sally Brown Snoopy and Woodstock (too hard to do right now I think)
