Well, Prism Lord make it to Lvl 9 last night. I wanted to go a little further, but there didn't seem to be a lot of people on, and trying to solo just got me debt. (Couldn't even get much of a team in Perez.)

I played with character creation and designed a Liberty Bell-inspired guy. Didn't have any powers I wanted to play with that would'a been apt for a LB protegee, tho so I never finished him.

Anyway, I recreated my Amethyst char on Pinnacle, but it sounded like Protector might've been more apropriate.

I'm dying to get a character to 20 for the second costume, I want to give some of my characters civvies, so they can go out in their Secret ID.

Last night while Prism Lad, Shadow Lad, Tasmia & my Mysa were recovering from one of our near death experiences, we were talking about how many characters we all had scattered across various servers. Wow, Vee, now I realize why I got confused trying to get down all your chars from this thread. You've been much busier than I.

I'm still trying to remember the bad guy from Giles' past. Then again I did like Giles so I could do a Giles-inspired char.

Has anyone tried playing with binds? I've played with coloring my chat bubbles, but I've been reading about some of the possibilites. I remeber on char I ran into that had a bind command that indicated what she was attacking.

'course I haven't decided on what would make apt colors for Prism Lord...

I've not tried binds or macros myself, not even sure where to begin with them.

I'm hoping that I can at least get 1 more lvl for Garth with tomorrow night's game.

And that list doesn't include all those that were and are no more (Validuss, Emerald Emprix, Brin LoneWolf, Infinite Knight...hmm, I think there were one or two others but can't remember them right now)

Never tried to do binds. Hell, I can't even figure out how to take a pic other than from the back!

That game has to be the most addictive game I've ever played. I swear it calls to me when I'm not playing it.

I just created a few more Legion characters on Virtue and Protector and was hoping to run into some of you guys but I'm not home from work on Wednesdays till 7pm west coast time.

UltraStar, Legion Night on Virtue starts around 8:30 - 9 PM eastern and we're usually on for a few hours (at least) so definitely come looking for us when you get online. Can't wait to see your version of all of those characters! Comet Queen in particular is a great idea and I assume Smallville is a version of Kal.

Here's a challenge for you ~ see if you can get one of the ones on Virtue up to at least level 10 so you can join us on the Task Force mission this coming Sunday. (Unless you already have a high enough level character on Virtue.)

Binds are interesting and frustrating but way cool when they work.

I created my first original bind last night, a stock cheer for tough sucessful battles and completed missions. Hopefully, you'll get to see it tonight. I already made dinner for tonight (cold, glazed shrimp), so I should be able to sign on soon after getting home.

Last night, while in between working on dinner, I created some new characters. One, after getting a bunch of names rejected, got called Retro Girl, which I'm hoping doesn't get zapped. I didn't realize why that sounded catchy to me until I hit go. (Annoyingly Yesterday's Girl is also too long a name.) Her costume was an attempt at creating a Marvel Girl costumer, but in different colors, as I wanted a swinging 60s style character. Her powers are mind control and force field.

The other characters were a redo of Shane Storm (this time in long shorts instead of attempting to fake up a speedo) and The Silk Stranger, a scrapper in a suit. If I get these characters going, the other Shayne Storm and Man of Mystery (a name I created when Mystery Man was already taken) may go.

Oh, and Prism Lord is now halfway to ten. Yea! I'm hoping for eleven by Sunday.

I'm ashamed to admit I don't recognize those. Is Marvel Girl Jean Grey or Mary Marvel? Shane Storm related to Sue & Johnny Storm of the FF? Mystery Man I don't know at all.

PS: What servers did you put them on?

My Retro Girl was supposed to be like Jean Grey's original identity. Too bad CoH doesn't have the cool cat mask. The colors are totally different, tho since I wanted to fall on the side of homage.

Shane Storm is just a storm character. I have to double check what the servers are, tho.

Haven't set a time yet but I would guess Sunday early afternoon (maybe 1 or 2 eastern?) Can't wait to see Pete again.

Hope the hurricanes (yes, two of them roaming around here by FL) don't interfere with me being able to get online on Sunday. I will be quite perturbed if they do and I miss out on the TF!

Ultra: The pictures need to be online somewhere. I use the free webspace at "My Netscape" because, unlike other free webspaces like Yahoo, etc., it allows hot linking.

Once you've got the pics uploaded somewhere, use the "Full Reply Form" function here by clicking on the button below the reply window on this page. That will bring you to a near identical message window which will have a number of buttons below it. Chose "URL" and enter the url of the pic.

I don't know of any Legion group on Justice (don't think anyone here plays on Justice) If you decide to start one there let us know on this thread. I'm sure some of us will start characters over there.

We do have a JSA contingent on Pinnacle but I don't think the SG has been formed yet. I've got three characters there: DrFate, Dark Obsidion, & Robin Flamebird. Lightning Lad (Scott) has a Mister Terrific, Sand II, & Mr Bones. Some others have StarSpangled Girl, Power Chick, etc. I think if you go back 3-4 pages on this thread you'll see the discussion about them.

I am in the process of starting up some Titans character on Triumph and I'll post the info here as soon as I have them set.

I've heard Marvel is coming out with a similiar game in 2005. I hope DC follows them! I have three old comps that won't be able to run City of Heroes. By the time I have *time* to build a new comp (or two) I might as well just get the Marvel game.

Can you imagine if DC does do one and have an entire Legion server. Geez, that would be fanboy heaven. Can travel to different planets, fly around Metropolois, explore Legion world. Let me stop myself before I pass out.

That would be awesome but both Marvel & DC will be hardpressed to improve on City of Heroes. It really is well thought out and designed. City of Villains which is due out next year will allow even more interaction including allowing players to battle each other.

Just a suggestions ~ shouldn't this thread's title be amended to include City of Heroes so people know what it's about. Something else else like "Your Chance to be a Legionnaire ~ The City of Heroes game thread"

I'll bet there are other LW posters playing that haven't read this thread because they don't realize it's about CoH.
