Got the game but didn't get home early enough from a meeting last night to deal with installing etc. I may try to do so today when I get home. Can't wait to try it out!

Cool. I didn't get logged in last night as I spent the whole night fighting to fix Caroline's machine so she could play. I'm off tomorrow so I may spend some time on line tonight.
Hope you have fun with it Vee. It's a blast!

We should start a Legion World super group of characters inspired by Legionnaires (careful not to break their copyright rules, of course). Gungir can be our founder if he isn't already in a group (or we can all start fresh on one of the servers).
At the very least, look for me on Virtue Saturday afternoon -- Chillflare or Dark Iris. Because of my show, I won't have time to play til then.

Gun is about 11th level now and getting ready to form a team with some friends from my e-mail RPG's. But if we get others on Virtue (I'm only on Triumph right now), I could recreate him and start over.

Chillflare and Dark Iris are parts of teams already.
Anyone got a spare 10th level who can start a group (that's the minimum to start a group, but you can be any level to join) on any of the servers? It doesn't have to be a Legion-inspired character, just one who can register the name Legion World so the rest of us could join. It would probably be really hard to coordinate, but it would be fun if we could level up together.

Hmm. Kaos and I hadn't come up with a group name yet. We want to register The Adventurers since that's our group in the game but the characters we started out with who are 10th level are part of that group. They're original for CoH. I'll run the name by him and see if he'd mind.

Decided to try a Controller today, and when I saw mind control as one of the primary powers, I had to do an homage to our favorite telepath. Here's Saturn Lady, an amalgam of costumes and a tweak on her look based on what the costume creator has available. After I joined a team to help level her up a bit, one of the guys said I was hot. I returned the compliment. How much of an assumption is there in these games that the gender of the character and player are the same? Was I obligated by some gamer code to tell him I'm a guy? Then he had to leave, and I just stayed paired with another female character. We teamed really well, and I got the impression she might be a woman in the real world. Should I have said something? Just curious. This MMPOG stuff is all new to me.

Hey SS, I had a similar conundrum the other day as I was making an electric/electric blaster. Something else else along the lines of Spark/Lightning Lass (long have I had a soft spot, or not so soft spot for Ayla Ranzz) And I thought...as a married 31 year old man, should I be playing the role of a young teenage hot chick? And as I thought, I decided hell yeah!! If I have to look at my characters ass all day as they run around, I'd rather see a cute female butt, and if someone guy wants to try and hit on my for cyber....he's gonna get a shock and cursed out Look me up on Freedom, Ion Prime or Ion Lass or Homeland

I created a Legion-Based Character for Virtue thi afternoon... His name is Gravity Lad (I wanted Gravitas or Gravis, but they were taken already, and besides I eventually wound up with something far more Legion-like), and surprise, surprise, he has Gravity powers...and force fields. Not real clear on the 31st century Green Lantern lore, but Gravity Lad (Hey, his initials are GL too, I didn't even plan that, SWEET!!!) is an Oan. Apparently the giant Battery sprung a leak and irradiated the populace of the planet, causing random mutations...and my character's eyes to glow green. The Battery radiation is the source of his powers, but the radiation is deadly to others, so he must wear a jeweled belt (a green jewel, naturally!) to help keep the radiation in check. Need a real name for him, for his "secret identity"...can anyone tell me what Oan names (presuming they've mentioned them in the comics) are like and give me some examples?

Cool!
I'll hop on as Saturn Lady tonight and look for you. I ran into another Legion fan who recognized my costume. He was a flame guy whose costume was a bit Inferno-ish. I told him I'd let him know if I got a Legion SG going. Guess I'll have to get her levelled up fast so we can do this.
Virtue is the place to be for our Legion-inspired team! (So you can do your RPG thing, Scott.) If anyone else levels up to 10 on Virtue, let me know so we can be all coordinated. Maybe I could post something to the CoH message board. As long as we stay "inspired," we should be OK, right?

Bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha!! Well, I hope to get my supergroup up and running this weekend. Saturn Lady isn't at 10th level yet, so there are a few hoops I'll have to jump through. Look for her on Virtue. I plan to call the team Legion of Virtue. LLLV!

I'll have to create a character over there. Presently I'm working on getting Gungnir up to 14th so he can teleport himself. And I'm working on writing a series of articles for The Pulse and have created a character just for that purpose. I need to work on her a bit too.

The last of this week's scheduled toons. I don't know, Eric, if you or any of the other players here have seen this group referred to in the strip but it cracked me up. I've been trying to figure out what the hell they are doing since I first started playing.

I have seen that little group too. I stared at them for 15 minutes before I realized it...

Legionnaires of Virtue is now an official supergroup on the Virtue server! Look for Saturn Lady and send me a tell. I hope to be online Sunday night and Monday.
It'll be pretty informal -- no fancy web site or anything. Just a chance to instantly find other Legion fans on the server and blast Hellions together (or the Clockwork -- a precurser to Robotica?).

Way behind on levels since I haven't had time to play recently. Gravity Lad just made it to level 6 today...

I haven't had much time this week either. Saturn Lady's only just made it to 7. I had to use one of my other characters to set up the group and then pass leadership to my hubby, who then waited for me to sign back on as Saturn Lady to pass leadership back to me. And that's all I'll have time to do today since I've got a performance (doing "South Pacific" with my local theater -- really gets in the way of my newfound addiction ). Whew.

Played for 12 hours last night and Gungnir finally reached 14th level and got self-teleportation. Just too much fun.
Now I've got to focus on The -Pulse. She the character I created for the series of articles I'm writing for The Pulse.
