Yes, I was afraid when there was talk of "retooling" Daisies between the seasons. But far as I can tell, it's just as quirky, weird and charming as ever! Such a clever, fun oasis of TV amid multiple, CSIs Law & Orders and other cookie-cutter crime series!

Great Ceasar's Salad!
Tonight's episode was just about the best hour of TV I've seen in ages!
I couldn't help but laugh when they kept pulling clown bodies out of the car!

That was hysterical. I watched last week and last night's episodes last night, and it's off to a great start (though I really wanted Kristin to sing something and not just vocalize on the hill -- even if they had to riff on the song if they couldn't get the rights).
My one question though, with all the subplots they're plopping in there, what about the one from the very first episode (and the comic they distributed in San Diego) -- Chuck's murder? There was something going on with those monkeys.
But otherwise, this series is a delight.

I've only caught one ep this season so far but it's still one of my favorite shows. If you fellow fans of the show didn't already know the 1st season boxed set is out now. I bought my copy on sale a few weeks ago.

Watch this show tonight--it's struggling in the ratings this season! If you haven't tried it yet, why the heck not?!?! Anyone who doesn't watch "Pushing Daisies" sucks!

I don't affect the Arbitron ratings at all, so I watch the episodes on abc.com. I have to imagine they're keeping track of how many people watch the episodes online.

Apparently it's been losing in ratings to the crappy Knight Rider revival! This sucks!
People need to appreciate the awesomeness of this show!

This show needs to be successful so we can have the "L'il Gumshoe" spinoff!

Was it just me or did tonight's episode seem kind of busy?

Such a shame -- I hate that it was probably the ^$&@(#& writers' strike that doomed the show. I blame both sides, but that strike really hurt a lot of people.

Yeah, I am totally bummed by the news. All in all, they really only got one season in, thanks to the strike, and it's so sad to see such a great, quirky show go.
I know Comic-Con is by no means a perfect barometer, but I'm really surprised how low the ratings are based on how difficult it was to get in to the "Pushing Daisies" panel. I was there an hour before, and they had already shut the line.
And they never addressed who murdered Chuck. I hope they go through with the movie to tie up the final episode's loose ends. Fuller said somewhere that it's a cliffhanger.

I read somewhere Fuller might complete the story as a comic book. (but it was one of those comic book news sites, so who knows how seriously he was thinking about it)

Yeah, there's lots of talk of continuation in some form or another. I think I'd rather see a movie than comic book, but I'm excited for anything more we can get out of it.
It's really unfortunate for a show that when it first premiered was hailed by many as "ABC's next Lost", and really should've had the same level of success.

Tonight's episode was especially awesome!
Loved Ned in the trophy room, especially!

I'm sad to see this show go. In a sea of police procedurals and overly contrived nighttime soaps, this stood alone as unique. I have to wonder where they thought the Ned/Chuck relationship could go and if ti could ever be consummated, though I guess it's better that the show end than have Ned and Chuck find a way to be together then have to find a way to drag out the show after that.

Crap! Another fantastic episode!
And actually not the way I was expecting the Dwight Dixon plotline to go at all!

Yeah, it wasn't what I was expecting to happen either -- makes me wonder if it was even originally planned that way.
Still, nothing takes away from the genius that is "Finger Lickin' Donut Hole!"
