You know if there's anywhere to watch it online? I seem to miss it about 70% of the time.
Is that a moon?

The Pie-maker vs 1,000 corpses? That's not so appealing to me. Final three episodes?? Awesome!
(I'll still pick up the comic when it comes out and hope that it still has the same charm, humor and romance that the tv show had, despite the 1.000 corpses)

Pushing Daisies returns from the dead, for about a minute, this Saturday!

Hmm... a decent episode last night, and particularly nice for the focus on Olive. Not one of the best of the series, but definitely a reminder of why I'm really going to miss this show.

The best episodes have been about the central Chuck/Pie-Maker relationship so while this wasn't one of the best it switches things up a bit in terms of the group dynamic. Ned's jealousy makes sense considering how devoted Olive used to be, but I hope they don't waste too much time on it in the last two episodes.

Just from the descriptions, it looks like we may be getting an Emerson-centric and then a Mermaids-centric episode for the last two. Which would both be kind of cool if they weren't the last episodes. My fear is that the show may be going out with more of a fizz than a bang.

The problem was they weren't allowed to plan for a more approriate finale before the plug was pulled. They (and we) were in suspense for a good while as to whether PD would be picked up for the rest of the season. So if it's a fizz, I don't really see any reason to blame the showmakers.
Still "Lardy" to my friends!

Oh, I agree. It's still unfortunate, however.

Watching the new episode made me fall in love all over again -- I'm going to miss this show so much.
I know it's a pipe dream, but wouldn't it be cool if the season 2 DVD set included a bonus CD with full recordings of the songs they performed?

So what'd y'all think of the ending?? I imagine they meant it to end on a cliffhanger with Ned and Chuck at the door, but the narration and summary of the characters put a nice cap to it at least. If nothing else, it'll make things more interesting when/if they do the "PD" comic book.

Unfortunately, it seemed like exactly what it was -- a quick "Oh, $#^%" wrap-up. But they did do the best they could with it. I'd still like to see a comic or something. They never did solve Chuck's murder. The first comic delved into the monkey a bit, and I want to know the rest.

It was probably as good an ending as could be expected, considering.
I'm definitely going to miss this show.
