Okay guys, I'm posting a GoFundMe page here. http://www.gofundme.com/oregonfund(Guys I'm sorry about last night. Being up late and being angry is no reason why I should take it out on you guys or try to guilt you into doing anything, especially since you guys have been really supportive lately. I'm sorry)

There is no obligation on the part of any Legion Worlder to respond in any way to a post in this thread, or any thread.
Please re-think your approach, Sarcasm Kid.

S'OK SK. We all get the grumpies. Probably just not a cause of interest to people here but no one ever got results by not trying either. Good luck!

Incredibly, there is a special needs school, the Judge Rotenberg Center, in Massachusetts which routinely uses electroshock "therapy" to deal with students whom the authorities deem to be "acting out". Seriously, JRC, what the sprock? This petition seeks to ask the President to ask Congress to outlaw this barbarism. While the Justice Dept. is investigating, the govt. still needs to know the public is outraged. Petition to end electroshock at JRC

If your klordny lasts longer than 4 hours, seek medical attention.

*Takes a deep breath* Hi guys. I'm going to attempt to be more courteous than I was the last time I posted on here. I wanted to post a few links to help a couple of people out, one of whom is a Legion artist. FYL Legion artist Christopher Taylor (he worked on some the 50-60 issues before Zero Hour) is collaborating with a group called Arthawk Entertainment to fund a project called the AEON, the Arthawk Entertainment Online Network. It's an extensive comics project that they originally started a Kickstarter goal, but unfortunately were only able to meet a fraction of the goal. Foreseeing a situation like this, they came up with a couple of smaller funding projects with goals a bit more reasonable. Right now, one of their projects is trying to reach funding for $5000 in five days, and they're halfway there now. You can find the AEON's main page here: http://theaeonishere.com/And here is the page to support one of their projects: http://theaeonishere.com/projects/support-us/Chris has actually designed a couple of characters based off Legionnaires if any of you are curious. One of them is called Ultress. ... Empty-B, an artist friend of mine, is running a sale on $4 sketch commissions to raise some money for a friend of her's who is stuck in a bad situation right now. http://empty-b.tumblr.com/post/90500111626B's sketch commissions can vary from a bust to full body, traditional or digital sketching, with a limit to three characters. I've already gotten five from B and I plan to get a couple more when I can afford it.

A nice fellow at Comic-Con turned me on to a charity that collects old gaming units and gives them to hospitals across North America and Europe. (Which is tax deductible, you know!) It's called Get-Well Gamers if you're interested in learning more.

http://www.gofundme.com/jiwokcThis a GoFundMe page for an artist I follow on tumblr. Carmen is trying to raise money to take care of some college bills. When she first started this campaign, she only had to raise 3000 dollars, and she actually met that goal... and then she was told she had to raise 6000 dollars MORE. The deadline is the 29th, and she still has about 2500 dollars to reach what she needs. http://yakfrost.tumblr.com/Here's her actual tumblr where you can actually donate money directly to her paypal account instead of to her GoFundMe page. http://yakfrost.tumblr.com/post/109219954284/yakfrost-yakfrost-guys-i-feel-like-i-haveAnd this is her post on her campaign. You can actually commission her to help out, I have, and there are other people lending a hand who are willing to do commissions based on how much a person donates.
