Speaking of McDonald's... did y'all know that Grimace used to be called "The Evil Grimace," had six (or eight) arms, and ran around stealing milkshakes? He was the Hamburglar's partner in crime... until McDonald's decided to make him over into the kinder, gentler version we know and love today.
Believe it... or not...!

You like sure do know a lot about McDonald's!
I wouldn't be caught DEAD there myself! *chirp of emphasis* That food goes right to your butt!
For breakfast I had an invigorating glass of Tropicana juice...
For lunch I had 2 sticks of Extra Sugarfree gum...
I have a dinner date... I'll probably have a glass of water with lemon and a few leaves of lettuce with no dressing...
*coo of satisfaction*

I decided to treat myself and got a Chicken Fajita Burrito at Chipotle tonight.
Still hard to believe that the McDonald's corporation owns this chain - I mean, they serve real food and everything.

I love Chipotle! They're a bit pricey, but their burritos are H-U-G-E and their carnitas is damn tasty. Plus, best of all, they serve BEER!

I had Wheat Chex and a banana for breakfast, but I think it's time for a dark-chocolate covered Oreo from the local choclate shop. I bought a dozen earlier this week, and this is the last one. Mmmmm

The last of my food is almost gone, so I'm enjoying a nice Sunday breakfast of Goldfish crackers and a bottle of water. Mmm...I need to go grocery shopping.

Oh, yeah, today: A Carb Solutions bar for brunch and a Boca veggie burger with mushrooms and banana peppers for dinner.

Pan-fried salmon spiced with Tom Douglas Salmon Rub -- which is absolutely delicious!
A big THANK YOU to Mondo Joe for his culinary suggestions during my visit to Seattle, where I picked up said rub!

Cap'n Cruch Crunchberries and a cherry vanilla cream soda
Why are you laughing at me? It's unkind, as well as puzzling!

Leftover lasgna is mighty fine, especially when it's my hubby's almost-totally from scratch with tomatoes from our back yard and cheese fresh from our own cows (OK, maybe not our own cows).
Mmmmm.

I like pasta shells stuffed with pesto-garlic chicken and mozzarella cheese.
But for dinner, I had a bowl of cold zaru soba noodles.

I'm having a bowl of Cap'n Crunch from a box I just bought today, but I just noticed that the box is advertising the Rugrats Go Wild movie... which came out several months ago. Guess that box had been on the shelves for a while... good thing it's not due to expire until next year!
