Well, interesting that both Rami and Chris have to develop a line and then compete to show it. I'd say if Rami can come up with something other than draped dresses, he'll be picked.

But I would say that Christian (ugh) will be the over-all winner. He is very talented. So's Jillian, but Christian has much more talent. If only he wasn't so arrogant, I'd like him.

My wife made me watch the last episode as a Valentine sacrifice. I tried watching this show before and just because of Christian I couldn't do it.

The exciting part was the MET. That might be my favorite place in the world. Kind of like a temple for me.

I like Rami and the pretty girl that works for Ralph Lauren. Oh my two cents.

All along I've felt that Sweet Pea was out of her league. I mean, she just doesn't give that fashion-forward designer feeling. I'm sure this show will give her a boost in her career now, though. Chris just seems like a costume designer to me, which is fine, but again, fashion forward?

Christian, Rami and Jillian definitely all have the taste level and skill to become big in the industry, IMO. Yes, Rami is in a safe little box, but it's a decadent, attractive little box. Jillian and Christian are equal to me, however, Christian does have more flare. We'll see what happens!

Consistantly, Jillian's problem has been the time constraint. Hopefully with enough time, her line will blow Christian out of the water.

Wow, Chris and Rami both did a great job! I had no idea who'd get picked. I would have been fine with either one, so the choice made is fine with me.

Can't wait to see what the top 3 show in the finale!

I also didn't know who would be picked until Heidi said so. Chris did do a great job. I think the judges had a hard time picking between the two just like in the last competition, but went with Rami because of his consistant good designs and that he did push himself to go beyond the draped Grecian goddess outfit. Plus Chris had been voted off before. And if I remember correctly, he almost got voted off on his return. (How embarassing would that have been) I am wondering if we can see Chris' complete line at the Project Runway website. Yup they do. Including a line Sweet P did. I am assuming they let her make a line in case one of the others has to drop out.

I am still picking Christian for the overall winner. But I think Jillian might give him a run for his money. Christian seemed slightly less obnoxious in this episode than in previous ones. Now having seem the designs. I like Rami's line the best, Jillian's second, and Christian's least (and not because I don't like him)

I thought Chris's designs were very couture, using an odd fabric like hair was interesting but mildly creepy at the same time.

I am unsure who will win though. Jillian has done consistently good throughout this competition, but she is bad at time managing. At the same time though, she has weeks to prepare, so I think it will be a dead heat between her & Christian.

and I'm sorry, I will say it, I love Christian Siriano. He is a total Queen, which can get annoying at times, but his designs have been amazing throughout the entire season.

I believe Christian should win, but I think Jillian could give him some strong competition.

Christian doesn't strike me particularly arrogant... just confident. That teeny voice saying "I'm fierce," sounds a little too tongue-in-cheek for me to take an arrogance claim too seriously.

I would have picked Chris over Rami. I would much rather see the remainder of Chris' collection than Rami's! Also, Rami just doesn't seem like a very pleasant person to me.

Well, no surprise Cristian won. I still think both Rami and Jillian had better collections than he did. I really hated the beige ruffle outfits. Ugly, ugly, ugly!

Rokk steady, it wasn't Christian saying "I'm fierce!" than made me think of him as arrogant. It was his cock-sure attitude of "My outfit is soooo much better than anyone elses." He did seem to lose that attitude in the final competition. Even Tim Gunn mentioned that the old extremely confident Christian was missing.

Christian show was the best and the last three dresses were awesome!

Rami - the judges were right, his color selection could use some work, only the very last dress was memorable.

I don't think Jillian should have been dismissed first. I loved her collection of knits, jackets and hats. And that black dress was great.

Can't wait for season 5!

I felt Chris's line was the most fashionable and the most innovative and the most fun. Human hair IS a little creepy to us at the moment but I think his designs will bring it out of that phase and into a wonderful alternative to killing animals for their fur.

I tend to view 'haute couture' as a fprm of costuming, though.

Jillian's and Rami's designs are lovely but they look all the same to me.

Christian is great, we all knew he'd win in the end if he made it that far.
He and Chris should become partners.

Throughout the competition, Christian did make some rude comments about the others' work and he did boost himself up in an arrogant way. At first I thought it was kinda funny, then I thought it was really immature, then I thought it was funny again. He really learned some humility by the end. Of course, once he won he got all fluffed up again. That's okay IMO. In 20 years he'll be dressing just like Michael Kors and laughing at these archives!

His show was the most entertaining. I actually smiled and said wow a few times. The others did really well, too. It was a very good finale.

My apologies, Quislet, I did not mean to suggest that it was only Christian's refrain of "I'm fierce" that would make someone think he is arrogant. What I would say (and it is much easier to say after the finale), is that the arrogant things he says are so clearly a cover-up for massive insecurities, that it never really bothered me... I never really got the feeling he was as arrogant on the inside as the way he presented himself on the outside.

Did anyone notice that he didn't have a "family" segment on the penultimate episode? Wonder what that was about? (cue Violins For Christian)

Anyway, totally happy to see Christian win. He just... wanted. it. so. bad. Also, not that this should matter, but I am pleased to see someone who is really just starting out (and doesn't have a studio/shop, like Rami) get the grand prize.

I actually thought Jillian was going to win. I'm kinda anti-Rami, mostly b/c he seems to have no sense of humor (does anyone need to take draping that seriously?), and I truly thought his color choices were atrocious. I think he should have been dismissed prior to Jillian.

Did anyone else think Posh Spice was going to rush the runway and grab one of Christian's outfits for her own? It was kinda funny how she so clearly coveted a Christian creation.

Anyway, great season, really strong fashion week, and looking forward to next season.

Rokk Steady,

No need to apologize. I also think Christian's arrogance is covering up some insecurities. Those insecurities came out in the last two episodes. Even so, it is still being arrogant and that is something I don't find attractive.

Well, the shower curtain raincoat lost. I suspect they were kind to garbage bag girl.
I really liked the blue plastic cup cocktail dress, but have to admit that the vacuum cleaner bag skirt with coffee filter top was the best.

During the intros, my wife wondered aloud why so many of these "already successful" designers felt the need to be on this show. Interesting how so many of them then opted for a seemingly easy route in the grocery store and bought tablecloths for material.

It seems like an interesting mix of characters as usual. Plenty of talent and some geeks and freaks. I do agree with the winning and losing choices, including putting the garbage bag lady in second to last place.

I would have kicked off garbage bag lady and kept raincoat boy.

In answer to your wife's question, I think that they are "successful" in that they own stores and can make clothing for their store. Appearing on Project Runway does give them exposure and they get to meet contacts that they would have a hard time meeting on their own in say Portland Oregon.

Well I wasn't surprized by the one kicked off. She might have saved herself if she had not done the sweater and used red or blue for the skirt.

I don't have any clear favorite right now. However, I'd like to see aging rocker leather lady and blonde tan stoner boy go. The quicker the better. Although I did like his outfit for this week's competition. And someone needs to tell Jerrell that the little hat is so 1980s.

Eh. I don't think she had a chance. I personally think she should've gone home the week before. Her passed 2 weeks have been very blah. Plus, I would say up to this point, Daniel has been a strong competitor.

Stella is very limited, and that is going to bite her in the ass, eventually. But I agree, both of them need to leave as soon as possible.

As of right now, my favorites are Kenley & Leanne.

I like Terri, Korto, and Kenley the best. I am hoping that one of them will win the final. I am partial but still reserved on Keith's and Joe's. Jerell's kind of 1990s ish...in my college years, I have seen many guys wearing that kind of berets or whatever that is called. I like Suede, but wondering about his strength and weakness...Stella has to let go...too focused on Leather and Black, she needs to broaden her insight. *sigh*

Blayne, Daniel, Leanne, and Kelli do not strike me well as favorites, they need to get out of their shells to showcase theirs soon! or they will go home.

Loved Tim's reaction when Blayne not know who Sgt. Pepper is. LOL!

Yeah, and Blayne's reaction to that shows just how clueless he is.

I like Terri and Korto. I'm kinda "meh" on everybody else. Kenley really annoys me for some reason.

And I want to see Stella flip out and gut Blayne with a shiv.
