Poor Kayne...Poor Kayne....what was he thinking? If he added one important color to the dress then he would have stayed on but no... Jeffery got lucky.

Vincent and Angela came back for one more chance and did not win the challenge....so they're officially eliminated.

I am rooting for Michael to win the PR.

MEL, I posted my raving review of that manip at your thread in the Bits section. I LOVE it! Thank you. She makes a lovely Adventure Era Dreamy and I like myself as Thom! Heh!

I felt SO bad for Laura. She seemed so defeated and sad after her bad reviews last week. All that stress during pregnancy can't be good for the baby. But, after her success this week, I bet she's re-energized and feeling confident again. I loved what she made! Her model is HOT!

If someone came to one of my cocktail parties dressed in Angela's outfit, I'd deny her at the door. OMG!

Vincent's design would have been pretty cute if he could have fit it on the substitute model properly. I didn't even hate the wrap thing. SO glad his model, who I never cared for before, is okay though.

Uli's boring me. Does she only design for girls in Miami? I hope she's out next week, to be honest.

Kayne just seems to not get it half the time. Buh-bye!

Y'know, I was all ready to hate on Jeffrey's design until Michael Kors mentioned Gwen Stefani. Then I imagined that outfit on her and I mentally liked it. Still, it would have been cool to see something elegant and mature by him.

Loved Michael's design. It really made me think of the 80's, but in a good way. His model is fantastic, too.

Ok, who here predicted Kayne's elimination? Who? Hmmm????

Laura's dress was great, I am glad she won. Superboymddjr, you are right about Kayne. If he only had used more white. A white cloth belt like Michael's.

Uli's is also boring me, but I am still hoping Jeffrey gets elminated next. I just don't like him.

I did feel sorry for Vincent because of the model substitution. And did you notice Angela still used her florets. The dress would have been 100% better if not for that collar.

I hope either Michael or Laura win. I am thinking Michael because the judges keep saying how he gets the whole look right.

Sketch glad you like it!

I felt bad for Laura, but kinda knew she wouldn't be the one to go because the promos for this episode showed her having problems and I think the nature of those show promos is to imply threat as a diversion to who'll really be going home.

Looking back I don't think Kayne was all that bad but amongest the top 5, it was either gonna be him or Jefferey who had the spottiest records historically.

In terms of who's most stable for the finale and who's least so, I ranked 'em Michael (almost always higher marks), Laura (on an upswing), Uli (on a down swing), Jeffrey (on a downswing).

SO happy with last night's decision!!!

Going into it, I expected Uli to be eliminated because I thought she was going to make another "party dress that you could wear in Miami." However, she made a CUTE little number, and she was SO SMART to pick that model. Nazri(?) makes everything look HOT!! I was glad she won and I was glad she didn't get cut.

I've been a big fan of Laura all along, and I'm glad she made it, but I do wonder what kind of collection she'll put together. The judges really let her know that they don't want to see 12 of the same thing going down the runway.

Jeffrey is both funny and an @$$hole at the same time. When I imagine his clothes on Gwen Stefani, I LOVE them, but sometimes they look trashy on a regular model. Still, his work is good overall. I didn't dislike his dress this time, as much as the judges. I agree though, that maybe his departure from his norm was too much.

Michael just seemed to get lost this time. Sexy sultry and ...sexy? Something else else like that... What happened to his creativity? Weird. I was afraid he was going to get cut, but I think HE was the reason they sent 4 through instead of cutting someone. These four are just all so different and talented.

If you want to be spoiled, Fashion week as alreadt come and gone. Entertainment Weekly had a full page article on the final four.

Jefferey went way out of his norm. One of the commentors said it right when they said they could see Mischa Barton wearing one of his outfits. Totally different asthetic to what he did on the show.

They showed a coulple from each. I was most impressed by Jeffery and Uli. But I guess we will see in two weeks.

I'm really happy they went with all 4 too! I must have missed something though because I thought Michael's dress was STUNNING, from the color to the cut. Not sure were all the love went cause I thought it looked great. Loved Laura's too. Uli winning was a farce, same dress, just 2 feet shorter <yawn>. She couldn't design something with any sort of form fitting structure if her life depended on it. Jeffrey, pretty dress until you got to the bottom. Marilinda looked like she was sporting a lampshade with the way it all fringed at the hem.

Still, their styles are so different that I think seeing range from all 4 in a 12 piece collection will make for a great finale!

Next week's reunion looks like it'll be the "can't miss" episode of the season, with the return of Keith!

I like Uli's dress in the details that she put in along the edges and the slight keyhole she did in front.

I like Michaels dress but the top needed to be worked on a bit more.

I have to wonder if they had already decided all four would go to fashion week, but wanted a last challenge to see what they'd give the judges as a preview. In retrospect, during the deliberations they were critiquing the outfits, but I don't really recall them debating on who should be cut - am I wrong about that? Anyway, I'm also glad all four are going. It was pretty wild that the one who seemed most likely to be cut (Uli) ended up winning and that the two strongest (Michael and Jeffrey) screwed up the most.

I have to agree with the judges, evening dresses are not Michael's strong suit. I am glad to see he wasn't eliminated.

I have to give grudging respect to Jeffrey's talents as a designer. I can't stand him as a person. His outfit was OK until you got to the skirt, which looked like a sack to me.

Uli did do her regular Uli dress, but then cut it short. It did look much better short. And of the four outfits was the best.

I liked Uli's dress (the trim made it), but those sunglasses on Nazri looked kinda off. Jeffrey's wasn't that bad, but a) I don't know much about fit/flattering shapes b) It wasn't signature or really reflective of the work we've seen from him so far this season. Laura's was ehn, seen before, not fresh/new/different enough. Michael's wasn't that bad but it wasn't memorable/poppin' like some of his best work. And he didn't know how to sell it well (poor word choice and photo).

Season finale tonight! but then it's only part 1 of 2 so i wonder if that means we even get to see the collections? anybody wanna rank what they think the order'll be? i think uli'll win, then jeffrey, laura, michael. i'd want laura or michael but i dunno if laura can exhibit broad enough appeal and i don't know if michael is ready/has enough experience. jeffrey i think will do something strategically good.

Some quick thoughts....

On the reunion special, I couldn't believe what a baby/victim Keith made himself out to be! Wow... terrible.

There was a spoiler in the newspaper last week or so that told how Laura would accuse Jeffery of cheating, so that revelation didn't surprise me. I still don't know if it was true or if he will actually show, but I don't intend to let myself be spoiled again before then. I want to be surprised when the show airs.

All four seem to really be doing their thing. It should be a really good show and tough competition.

Good show, I think w/the exception of Michael, they could have made an argument for Laura, Uli or Jeffrey to win. In the end they went with innovation over classicism and effervescence.

Laura was my favorite, but I'm fine with Jeffrey winning. We got to see all four of their visions so it was a win win for all of us.

I was suprised by Jeffrey's win but I did like his stuff (save for that long blue dress that made like model look short and comparatively non-skinny). Re: his budget, if he was $200 over AND missing a receipt for his shorts, how much would he have been over with that extra receipt? PR had a streak of choosing the amiable, easygoing person over the 'bad guy'. I think Laura did take some chances and it was cool. Uli's work really was well done and I was kind of rooting for her stuff in the end. Michael's stuff was mixed - I did like that white cape like dress he had on one of his early models but ultimately a lot of his stuff looked like clothes Agent Sydney Bristow would wear...while under cover as a foreign floozy.

I officially don't get Jeffrey's work -- I don't think he should've won. I felt the opposite of Michael Corrs, where he said he felt Jeffrey's line was coherent and Uli's was all over the place. I liked Michael's line as well, though I suppose it was a bit too "sexy" for the show. I thought Uli should've won. Laura didn't really do it for me on her show. It was nice and well put together and stuff, but I wasn't feeling the feathers and the lacey stuff.

I couldn't think of a good enough name for her.

And aren't there two Legion lasses at that site?

Aw, I'm kinda bummed that they haven't done anything fun like make clothes out of groceries or furniture!

Well, SJP was a great guest star!
