As always, I have to explain why it is worth his while. "They'll have the new Justice League Unlimited comic," I say. "I want that," says the 3-year old. "You'll get that for me, Daddy," he says, not able to disguise the imperious tone in his voice. We walk into the CBS. There's JLU #20 prominently displayed. First words out of the 3-year old's mouth: "It's the Legion of Girls!" That's my boy! Of course, then it was a race to finish my browsing under a constant barrage of "I want the Legion of Girls, Daddy." ...but you don't have a moment where you're sitting there staring at a table full of twenty-five characters with little name signs that say, "Hi, my superpower is confusing you!"

(embarassed to buy a kid's book in a COMIC store? ....well..it is a budget thing too.) i need a kid to borrow so i can say it's for him/her!
