The 3-year old had a birthday party on Saturday out on the southwest side, so an earlier-than-usual trip to the comic book store seemed in order. As always, I have to explain why it is worth his while. "They'll have the new Justice League Unlimited comic," I say. "I want that," says the 3-year old. "You'll get that for me, Daddy," he says, not able to disguise the imperious tone in his voice.
We walk into the CBS. There's
JLU #20 prominently displayed. First words out of the 3-year old's mouth: "It's the Legion of Girls!"
That's my boy!
Of course, then it was a race to finish my browsing under a constant barrage of "I want the Legion of Girls, Daddy."
