Oh yeah, that on-topic thing. I watched one episode once and, other than Robert Gant's shirtless scene, was thoroughly unimpressed. I only got cable recently and never have had Showtime. Does that make me not gay or anti-gay or whatever?

I've watched QAF and didn't do much for me. Queer Eye on the other hand...I just adore.

I actually went to a QAF party at a film festival at Sarasota. Sarasota a beautiful city south of Tampa...very artsy...and very gay. I've been to many gay clubs back in my metrosexual days...but I wasn't prepared for this. Fish out of water. All that flesh and sweat. There were about 1000 shirtless gay men there...many in thongs. Free drinks though! And no competition...lots of ladies as well.

I've seen a couple of episodes (funny comic book subplot in one of the seasons) and I think it gayed me up good.

I stayed up late and QaF'ed!

The episode where Brian's father reveals he has cancer and then learns he has a grandson and Brian is gay... that was GOOD tv.

Daphne is SO adorable.

Tracey left the Big Q, but on good terms with Michael. As in comics, I can really get into the little-seen, peripheral characters like Dahne, Jennifer and Tracey. I seem to recall Tracey pops up again later in the series (either Season 2 or 3). I'll be watching for her.

The whole Melanie/Lindsey breakup was depressing. And short-lived, thankfully.

As was the Michael/Brian "breakup".

I liked the ep where Brian gets sued for sexual harrasment. FINALLY, his incessant and insatiable sexual appetite has some consequences, as it should. Of course, nothing came of it, but Brian *was* innocent, so I'm glad it "blew over". (Heh. Get it? Justin, "blew over"? Oh, never mind. )

The whole "See the Light" thing touched a nerve with me because we recently had some similar activity/scandal here, involving teenaged boys forced by their parents to join an association like this. I *loved* it in the end when Heather (who I really liked!) and Emmett saw the REAL light!

I knew I didn't like David but couldn't remember why. NOW I do.

And we're up to the part where Ted takes in Blake. I know how he feels... this beautiful little thing, perfect in everyway... except the mother-effing drugs. Just say NO, Teddy!

So I'm 8 episodes into Season 2.

Michael bought his comic book store with his eBay earnings for ASTRO COMICS # 1 ($10,000!!).

And Ted sure seemed to become a porn czar pretty quickly. And Emmett a porn star.

Both Tracey and Daphne have popped up, though I think Michael leaving the Big Q is Tracey's last appearance.

Hmmm... Justin was first to break the self-imposed rules he and Brian agreed to (namely, no kissing).

And the way he treated his young trick was reprehensible, even if the li'l guy WAS quick to fall in love. Maybe it made him feel better about the way Brian treats him. Loved how Brian knew Justin had kissed the guy.

And here's Ben. I never like Michael's boyfriends.

Emmett had me cracking up with that "Mr. Schickel, I do not appreciate being stalked" line.

And when he called the butler "your majesty"....!

Damn it, put QAF down and go buy Veronica Mars season 1 STAT!

Absolutely no way I could get it before Dec 16 anyway, so I'm in QaF-ville for now!

The Final Episode Airs over here next week. Ive taken the night off to watch it...the show aggravates me a bit but I have a thing for final episodes.

Oh man. Joe-Boy...I really thought Michael was going to die in the previous Monday's episode - thank heavens it was just his spleen that was affected...Brian and Justin buying that fancy-schmancy abode didnt hook me in much...

But I did feel sorry for Emmett as he stood by helplessly as his footballer love-buddy was chatted up by that muscle Mary dude...I was hoping for a 'cat-fight' - but, I guess "Auntie Em" is a pacifist...

Funny...Will pisses me off...Sean Hayes needs to publicly declare his Homosexuality. Karen needs her own show "Karen in Space!" "Karen Does Hawaii!" "Karen...the early years" etc etc...and the "Wedding date" was a bad bad movie.
