Is owen wilson every funny? Really. I mean, i have seen him in several things, and i really don't get the appeal.

Take the royal Tannenbaum's. I heard great things about that movie. Hell, it had Gene Hackman in it with Danny Glover, how great is that, right?

Wrong. That movie sucked monkey ass. He elicited a few chuckles outta me in Shanghai Knights, or whichever was the first one, but thats about it. I Spy was excrement. Sorry, Cobie, not trying to take a shot at you, i just don't understand the guys appeal.

And don't get me started on Ghost world. I know it was a comic book movie, but man, i wanted to rip my eyeballs out by the end of it. I was really hoping she would shoot herself to put her outta my misery.

Actually Rick, I haven't seen any of those movies. I just thought about it, and I really have only seen a small handful of his movies where I thought he was at least amusing: Zoolander, Starsky and Hutch, 5 seconds in Armaggadeon, and then one were he was hysterical, Wedding Crashers. Guess I'm not the best authority on him, but maybe he's just funnier when he's around funny actors.

Usually he illicits a few chuckles from me. In the Big Bounce--wow, he was bad.

Well, he wasn't in ghost world, as far as i remember, but the rest is accurate. I threw Ghost World in there as one not to waste money on, lol.

He wasn't in Ghost World. But Steve Buscemi was which is why I enjoyed the movie. Had it been just the overrated Scarlett Johansson and Thora Birch then the movie would have been major crap.

Yah, I just saw that (for some unknown reason) and it was really lame!! I was sad...

If it were up to me to choose which Wilson brother is better looking, i'd go with Luke - coz Owen is way overdue for a nose job...

Steve is very cool and a good actor. He has that underated Jack Elam thing working for him, with a lot of brains behind it.

Where has he been, by the way? I haven't seen or heard anything about him in a while. In fact, the last thing i remember was that drying out movie from sandra buttocks.

Steve is very good, and i would love to see him and the guy from kill bill that was son Number 1. He was in that David Duckovny movie were DD played a struck off doctor. "Fix'im".

That was genuinely the best part of that movie. He was also the guy that Clooney cooked in the store in Dusk Til Dawn.

Those two would make some seriously screwed up brothers, in either a comedy or a drama.

A terrible movie I rented, thinking it would be good on star name power alone, was Enzy. Jack Black and Ben Stiller, should be pretty entertaining right? Oh hell no! Terrible. Did not enjoy a second of this movie. Jack Black sleep walked through his, no nothing from him. And Ben Stiller crap too. What a waste of my life that I'll never get back...

If we're playing the "This movie sucked!" game then:

Patch Adams!

That movie was awful! And to rub salt in the fresh wound caused by said movie, my flatmate absolutely loved it and cried several times throughout and completely lost it during the disgustingly cheesy ending.

I think Robin Williams should maybe stop making movies.

Did you see "Awakenings" with Robin Williams and Robert DeNiro, Shadow Kid? RW was capable of bringing out the bathos as well as the comedic elements of any movie...Take note also of "Dead Poets Society" and "The World According To Garp" - did those movies also "suck" because RW was in them, or in spite of it?

My answer would be "yes"...lol.

I don't know what it is about comedians that they have this insane need to do things other than comedy.

They wanna stretch their wings, blah blah blah.

You get paid 20 million dollars a movie to make us laugh. In this world, laughter is becoming a precious commodity. Just shut up and make us laugh.

Lets put it this way, Adam Sandler had my respect with Billy Madison and a few other oddball comedies. Then he does the thing with Tea Leone. WTF? Don't do that, dumbass. You get typecast, so the hell what? Make people laugh.

Bill, seriously, Lost in Translation? WTF? Why'd ya quit being funny? I don't go and see your movies now cause ya quit bein FUNNY!

I know that others will say that they didn't want to be typecast, and that only doing comedies would limit their career, or only doing period dramas would limit their career.

At twenty mill a pic, limit me.
