Hoping for the Phillies, but I am picking the Rays.

The Rays are just so exciting right now, I'm hoping they win and also think its quite possible.

Faraway Lad going for the New "England" team. It figures! jk I can't believe the Rays won! It's a dream come true! I told my daughter she's lucky to be a kid when the Bucs won it all (she was a bit young though) and now the Rays go to the World Series! I never ever thought the Rays would go this far EVER. (heck we won in hockey also!)

It’s good to see Tampa in it this year. They’ve played solid ball all season. And they have the smallest payroll in the league. (Either TB or the Marlins actually, not sure at the moment.)
There’s a quote floating around from a Phillies player, something about how TB didn’t deserve the series win yet, they hadn’t been bloodied enough yet. Sounds like sour oranges to me… GO RAYS!
Just spouting off.

Go Rays! Cole Hamels is good! Hopefully we can get 2 out of 3 in Philly like we did against the Sox.
Many people have been saying Tampa Bay plays the "right way". I have to say I agree.
They have "stars" but nobody's average is much different than the others. They all bat between .255 and .280 I think. They are all pretty good in defense. They all perform their roles. Even the power hitters try to just bring in runs instead of just trying to hit home runs. They steal bases all the time, etc. It's team ball.
Same with the pitchers. We don't really have an ace. Kazmir at one point but he lost that ace status towards the end of the season. (And maybe Price will develop into an ace). We have 4 starting pitchers that pretty darn good. Not much of a difference between them. They get the job done. Same with the bullpen (though Wheeler really scares me. He looks very unfocused and nervous this entire post season).
I really hope we try to resign these guys. Tampa is not one of these historic cities that supports losing teams out of tradition and hope.
