Good going, BB! Yesterday I went to IKEA to spend a gift card I got for my birthday. I walked back to the car with a big IKEA tote bag on my shoulder that had a set of dishes, a new lamp and shade and new dog dishes. As I was walking I realized that not long ago, I would have been carrying at least that much weight inside!

And two more pounds off today! I've lost 65 pounds since February. I now weigh 172 pounds. My target weight is 170. Just two more pounds! I'm gonna try to get there next week!

Good for you RL! You are doing so well!
My home scale said I was down 1.6 this week, but the official WW weigh in said I was the same. Must. Try. Harder. I'm tired of this plateau. I feel as though I've wasted months gaining and losing the same few pounds. So, holding at -47 lbs...

The plateau's always the toughest part, so I've heard. I've been at mine for three or so years Granted, I don't think I'm trying that hard though. You can do it, guys and gals!!

Rocky, what have you been doing?! That's awesome! Congrats buddy!
You too Mechana! Tons of impressive-ness going on.
Me...I've hit a setback. So much has been going on in my life lately that working out and eating healthy (I never really 'dieted' per se) have taken a back seat. I'm not back up to where I started when I lost all that weight 1 and 1/2 years ago, but I'm about half-way there. So on Monday I started anew and we'll see what happens. I'm feeling optimistic though...things have started to slow down and I'm not where I was when I was at my worst...
So what specifically have you been doing Rocky? Running? That's what really helped me (among other things). That's what I need to do the most at this point, knowing my body.

That's what I need to do the most at this point, knowing my body. I've been on the Weight Watchers online plan since February. I don't go to meetings (who has time?). I just weigh myself once a week and record it online. There's also a "Points tracker" to keep tabs on how much I've been eating. As for exercise, I started out by taking longer walks with Hyvvie twice every day. Now we run most mornings and walk in the evening. Having a dog has been very helpful. He needs to be walked anyway, so we both get exercise.

Hm. I'm surprised. Didn't change my routine or workout, but I managed to lose 5 pounds this week instead of my usual two. I weighed myself three times to be sure, but I came out at 186. That's the thinnest I've been in my entire adult life, I believe.

And I weighed in at 170! Nine months to the day--and 67 pounds--after I started, I've met my target weight! Woo-hoo!

Weighed myself this morning. I lost about a pound, I think. Not my best week ever, but I'm already lower than I thought I'd possibly hit, so any progress is good progress.

Losing a pound Thanksgiving week is a major achievement! Good going, BB!
I'm on maintenance now and, I'm proud to say, I am still at 170 after a week--which included quite a bit of culinary indulgence on Thanksgiving Day and the day after.

I weighed myself when I was at home (before Thanksgiving) and I'd lost ten pounds, which made me happy. Unfortunately, I think I may have gained some of it back. But I'm on track again... mostly.

I'm as fat as ever! Not good. Been working out alot though and am strong as a bear but it's still not pretty.
Anyways, Kashi frozen foods are pretty good and usually only about 300 calories each.

Sigh. So with the exception of half a pizza on Saturday, I've done my best to be as good as can be this week, in an effort to break out of this yo yo cycle of losses and gains I've been on.
I couldn't make my meeting this morning because of a snow storm, but my home scale says I'm UP 3 lbs!
I know you have to just ride out the bad times, but man, it's lucky I'm snowed in or I'd be heading out for a pint of Haagen Daaz right about now. :-(

Two weeks on maintenance and I'm still holding steady at 170! And big for Ronda! Hang in there!

Found an old exercise that works great! Jump roping! I used to be really good at it back in high school. I picked up last week and love it. It's a bit addicting. I like better than jogging.

I went to the doctor yesterday, and I was... disappoint but not surprised. I'm down from where I was but up a couple pounds from my pre-Thanksgiving weight.
It might be time to start exercising. I mean, after finals week.

Three weeks and I'm still holding at 170! Blue, you're hot on my heels! And I'll tell you, 170 is great! I can't wait for you to join me here! Hang in there, Cali. This is the hardest time of the year for dieting. I have holiday parties every day between now and Sunday. I hope I can maintain this week.

Thanks, Rocky. Didn't make much progress on that this week though. Only down about a pound. But that's not too bad.

Somehow with all the holiday parties this week, I not only didn't gain weight, but I actually lost a pound! I weighed in this morning at 169! Next week, I'll be visiting my folks in Florida from Christmas Day till the 30th and there will be no diet then, but we'll just see how things go!
