Speaking of Dr. Girlfriend, is there a Venture Brothers thread around here?
Why are you laughing at me? It's unkind, as well as puzzling!

I searched for one once and didn't see one. Start one, because I need to talk about how devestated I am!

Why are you devastated?!?! And more importantly, what does it have to do with the Adult Swim Venture Brothers series which features a charcter called Dr. Girlfriend?

Did you not see the quote unquote "last episode"?!?! It ran a couple of Sunday nights ago.... Are there going to be any new Venture Bros. episodes?

Not terribly encouraging: from some article dated 12/8/04: "The question still remains if this will be the last original episode of Venture Brothers. The folks in charge of Cartoon Network's Adult Swim programming block are being characteristically cryptic. "We're extremely pleased by the positive feedback Adult Swim fans have given The Venture Brothers," said Keith Crofford, vice president of production, Cartoon Network. "We're still working on our production schedule for next year, so we haven't made any final decisions yet regarding new episodes. But we'll certainly let everyone know once we have our plan in place." In other words, you are probably not advised to hold your breath on this one. If you'd like to make your feelings known about the renewal of Venture Brothers, be sure to send the network a note. "

I kinda wonder how season 2 would work considering what happened at the end of the "final" ep.?
I sort of got the impression through out the season that the boys were clones...
so maybe Dr Venture will whip up a new Dean and Hank. Maybe this isn't the first time the boys died?

I saw a promo of Amy's hosting the Lifetime thing, and it was HI-larious. I meant to DVR some of the movies, but I just clean forgot. I heard the SWC movie got good response at Sundance Film Festival, but I haven't heard any word yet on when it'll hit theaters. I can't wait!

Well, the good news is, VENTURE BROS. came on tonight. I thought it was being replaced completely by ROBOT CHICKEN. Not so, apparently, so there's hope!

had a friend over on the weekend, drank vodka and forced him to watch a couple of hours of my favourite SWC episodes. It hurt his mind.
"How can they be so awful?" he asked. I laughed and made him watch more...

As I've said before, SWC is a good "litmus test" for new people...if they like it, then we can be friends.

oh yes, but even better it can be used to warp the fragile mindset of the young until they are more in synch with our world.

For real. Stupid young people, running around using condoms and being politically correct and stuff.
SwC is the cure for that!

oh yeh, minion status is very cool.
One friend came to see some of the Melbourne Comedy Festival (if you ever come to Auz, do it during festival time) and to wind down we watched a few episodes. He suggested to me that the show would be even better if it was set in California. That's right, the SW-OC.
now watching either show gets me giggling inappropriatly. Especially imagining the girl-on-girl plotline with Mischa Barton and Gerry.
Or Gerry on the water-polo team. (disturbed maiacal laughter ensues).

And, Lashie, i would in a flash minionize you, but you are already so above it! You got your own day for pessakes.
Minions are for educating in the important things like SWC, HTF and the correct way to buy me drinks (in volume).
