Hey, Titan Lad!
Yeah, our SGs are mostly inactive these days. Back in the day, we were pretty strong, but not many of us play any more. And while I still play, it's not nearly as much as it used to be.
My current main is on Freedom, so I'll be sure to look for you next time I log on. You can look for me as Linus VP or global @Suddenly Seymour (might be one word -- I don't remember).

oh, well that sucks, I have had a hard time finding a good sg. I use to be on a great Teen Titans sg, but everyone stopped getting on, so I quit. It's always hard to find an active one, where you get along with all the people. I will be sure to look you up, when I am on next.

Some cool looking stuff in there. I'm especially glad for powerset proliferation. I can't wait to start a plant controller who's a good guy (too bad I'll have to start from scratch)!

Ah, new Epic ATs. I might just have to play around with both! The new costume items look pretty spiffy, too...
Looks like the Roman-themed MMO Cryptic was thinking of doing (Imperator?) has turned into nothing more than a zone and some costumes for CoX. Pity that. Still, better that than total oblivion, I guess.
I always wanted the people who did Dark Ages of Camelot to do another tripartate game, only with the Realms being Egyptian, Roman and Persian. That would rock...

Bummer -- the secondary plant power didn't get transferred to controllers, so no plant/plant. Oh, well, at least they get an Audrey II.

Just saw a post on the COH forums that they're looking into allowing purchasable extra slots.

Anyone still playing?
After taking a Stone Tank to 50, I got the urge to see how invul/ss works out, so I changed Andrew's costume a bit and I've been playing him on Virtue some again.

I hopped on the test server to try out the psychic blaster in Issue 12. I wasn't too impressed. My hubby, who's main was a blaster, says there's always some overlap between primary and secondary powers, but it seems like there's too much.

Yeah, it took a while to get going last night after my show rehearsal (should have just went to bed). Decided to try the ice/ice defender (Icicle Toes), but I got tired after going through the training set and did go to bed. He'll be only my second defender that doesn't have a heal, and it feels weird.

Guess they don't send out e-mails anymore for the free weekends as I only found out about it late last night catching up on Nodwick . I downloaded the game again, took a couple of hours, but haven't tried it out. Not sure if I'll get a chance before the free offer expires tonight. But I did look and didn't see any of my characters missing or names changed. Would I have to actually try to play the character to see that? I expected Lightning Lad to be gone as well as Gungnir (since someone stole that name from me and put it on other servers) and Edgar Allan Poe. But all appeared to still be there. If I get a chance I'll probably start a new Roman character over from scratch. Fulgur or something similar.

Well, I tried it a bit. Was disgusted that I couldn't create a Roman character off the start. And although they updated the buildings and sets, why are the beginning levels still the same damn missions? Same old routine that made me give up.
Oh, and wtf is with the getting shot after the baddie has already bit it? Every time I knocked one out they still got a final shot at me. Might as well have the guns go off just for hitting the floor.

Might have been lag. The servers were pretty busy this weekend. Also, once the attack is triggered, it goes off no matter what. And sometimes the animation are off. I remember when I first tried trick arrow the net arrow animation would sometimes show up on the bad guy before the arrow flew from the bow. The only new content in the 20 levels or so Heroside has been the Police Band missions. They're like the Newspaper missions in COV. On both sides, it's now worthwhile to do the Bank missions ... at least before 20 because you get temporary travel powers like a Sky Raider jetpack or a jumping belt. They have revamped the Hollows this issue to make it easier to get around in, though. My guess is that they don't spend a lot of time on new content for the low levels because they pass so quickly with the higher levels of XP you can get now. I've always found the game not all that interesting until 20 or so, myself. Strigia then Croatoa can make the trip to 30 pretty quick. Blue Battler 2.0, my Fire/Regen Scrapper, went from 14 Saturday morning to 30 Monday night.

I've actually been enjoying the psychic blaster I've created but I'm really enjoying my plant controller! Kid Chlorophyll has waited a long time for this day to arrive. And the best part is he'll be able to call forth a venus fly trap as a pet of sorts from what I can see.

Just got past 24 with my Crab Spider on red-side. I haven't been so giddy over a new set of powers since I got my Assault Bot with my Bot Mastermind! Big spidery legs hanging off of my back, slicing and dicing people in front of me or rearing back and shooting a barrage of crimson energy beams at foes! Hee hee.
Giddy! Giddy, I tell you!
I'm comfortable in my immaturity.

Okay, I probably said I was done with this game forever, and I know better then to make proclamations like that because you should never say never.... Well it's official (another proclamation coming) I am once again close to being hopelessly addicted to this damn game again. I am a veteran with 39 months. And now I have to stick around to veteran with 48 months so I can unlock the pet pool containing wisps and what I really, really want, the dark and light fairies. Of course all of my toons are going to get the fairies, and I will go dark or light depending on the theme of my toons. I have so many gothic girls or vampires to get dark fairies for. And I have some pretty fairy and goddess toons to get the lifht ones for. The monkey just makes me want to vomit and has shown up in some creepy scenes in some bad dreams in real life. The redcap is so anti-cute-traveling gnome and so evil and nasty that I hate that too. I can tolerate the darling little mekman pretty well, and it cracks me up when he pounds his fist 'threateningly.' But he doesn't really accessorize my of my girls very well. I've taken a lot of clockwork dudes as my pets just because that one is growing on me in cuteness wise and I can write it into my bios that he began following me around and I let him 'live.' I must say that I really appreciate the salvage system and the opportunity to make bucks in Wentworths. I get 'almost' the same rush and giddyness that I do from real life online shopping and browsing ebay. And I have made some nice money for new, 'baby' toons who would have just been broke in the past. I learned how to work hard to get everything for a receipe and go craft something. Of course what I wanted was a set of fairy wings for my Tinkerbell toon! (She looks lovely and she can fly now too so it's perfect) I'm pretty giddy too Set

From what I've heard someone disbanded the Virtue group or kicked all of those of us who started it out.

Not that I can tell. At least not mine. Caroline was telling me Ayla had been booted and it appeared the group was disbanded. That's what I was basing my assumption on. Besides we're heading off to Vegas so we'd miss out on playing this weekend anyway.
