Here are some pics I took of the new guys... First up, the new guys on Infinity...Rimborian and Kid Chlorophyll Stone Kid looks the same as the controller version on Protector except his skin now looks like an Outcast Brick On Protector I added Rond with mind powers and Storm King... And finally, on Virtue the two newest members are Polar Kid and BB Chuck!

Yeah, I'd say let's play a Legion group on Legion night. Prism is still eager to get to those cool level 40+ missions...

I just spent 3 1/2 weeks in the hospital over the Christmas break as a result of gall bladder problems and pancreatitis. I had to have my gall bladder removed which went fine, but one of the gall stones somehow went the wrong way and inflamed my pancreas giving me pancreatitis. Thankfully, I don't have any pain from it, but I can't eat anything. I've been hooked up to an IV for the past couple of weeks and that's what's been feeding me. Since I felt fine, the doctor said I could go home, but I still have to be hooked up to a feeder until my pancreas settles down. The bottom line is = Bad News - I can't work or eat and I have to be fed through an IV 15 hours a day; Good News - more CoH playing time! So that's why I haven't been around for awhile. I'm hoping I won't be on this thing too much longer. Maybe another week or two. My pancreas was already showing some improvements before I left the hospital. Anyway, hope to see you guys around in Paragon City soon.

Yikes! I had a feeling something was wrong kiddo. I just knew you couldn't be away from CoH for that long, particularly since you were looking forward to the increased playing time during Christmas break from school. Glad to hear you're recovering and that it wasn't any worse that it sounds. Be a good patient and do what the doctor tells you. Then get on the computer (since you're not allowed to do anything else) and kick some baddie butt!!!! Pete & Blok sure have been missed! PS: Let me know if there's anything you need that I can help with.

Just went to log into CoH and discovered that there is an update to dowload. Only about 750K so it's not too big and it apprently includes the free respec but doesn't say anything about global chat. Sounds like they're still having problems with that. See you in Paragon!

I tried to post earlier that they had installed the respec (no notes at all on what else was in the patch if anything) but we've been having serious connectivity issues here at work.

Just remember that somewhere about 5 -10 pages back, I described the process since you'll get NO explanation from anyone about how to do the respec. The only change is that you no longer have to go see Jack Wolfe in Galaxy, just type /respec in you chat window and you'll be able to do it from anywhere. Everything else I descriobed should be the same.

Glad to hear from you, SLK!
Hey, guys... this is something that I've been meaning to suggest.. what do you think of giving out our phone numbers to each other? Or at least setting up a phone tree so that if one of us goes AWOL we can make sure he or she is okay...?

See you in Paragon! This was included in the patch: Capped the amount of experience a player can receive for a single arrest at 1/2 the total xp needed to go from the start of the character's current level to the start of the next one. Was this done to stop powerleveling? Or is there another way that you can gain a full level from a single arrest?

Even then 1/2 a level seems a bit much, why not 1/10th... aka one bubble or even 1/20th, half a bubble. We'd be happy getting that by sidekicking around...half a bubble per arrest. Interesting thread over at the CoH boards about the boss changes. I posted my POM -- I think again the powerlevelers' idea of a challenging game blocked sight of the casual gamer's challenge. Sigh.

Sorry, I've got too much to prepare for a meeting tomorrow. And I think Caroline is off having fun with her SG on Victory, where she spends most of her time now.

Working on Blue's next to the last story arc in the 35-40 range ... I talked to Grem and right now she's leaning towards making a version of Dream Girl on Virtue as an empathy/psi defender.
I told her to go ahead and invite our friend Mel as well. Mel said she knows a little bit about the Legion, so maybe she can come up with a character.

I told her to go ahead and invite our friend Mel as well. Mel said she knows a little bit about the Legion, so maybe she can come up with a character. Nura would be neat (Mysa gets to hang around her sister! ) and those are good choices of powers for her. Another possibility is for her as a martial arts scrapper since she was supposed to be one of the best non powered fighters in the Legion. Other character suggestions for a female on Virtue (assuming Mel wants to play a female)...Duo Damsel as a scrapper, Night Girl as a tanker, Life Lass as a healer, Gas Girl as a blaster or rad defender, Quantum Queen as a blaster, Nightwind as a storm controller, Infectious Lass as a rad/rad defender, Comet Queen as a blaster or fire tanker, Laurel Gand as a tanker, Jazmin as a blaster, Kinetix as a blaster or defender (or even as a tanker in her amazon form), Jeckie (as Sensor Girl or the Grell version of the Princess) as an illusion controller, Mentalla as a mind controller, Catspaw as a claws scrapper... I'm sure there are others I've missed but that's what I can come up with off the top of my head.

We're always glad to have you back, Doc.
Sorry I couldn't join you last night. I was watching Stefanie Powers play Anna in "The King & I." Singing's not her forte, but she did a pretty good job. She was helped by a great supporting cast.
I hope to get on tonight, though. Shadow Lad's about 2/3 of a bubble away from 25. And with the respec, I can get him stamina and hasten and slot them properly. Though I can't think of three powers I want to give up for them. Oh, well, sacrifices must be made, and I can always take them back later.

Now that the free respec has been issued, I wonder if it would get copied over to the test server along with your char? I may have to test that out this afternoon when I get home. It would a a great way to try different varioations out without wasting the respec.
