If we are doing this on the test server can EAP tag along? He's at 17 right now. Maybe if I get a chance to work on him he can hit 18 by Wednesday, the first night I'd have available.

Is that the free respec? Did we ever find out what level you have to be to use it?
As for EAP joining on Wednesday, he's half a level closer. Got a total of 5 bubbles tonight so I have about 5 1/4 towards 18.

The description on test says that it's the free respec and that it's available to everyone. I assume that means everyone regardless of levels. Thing is, I really can't see that I have anyone I can use the respec on just yet. Andrew can use dull pain, but I'm not going to respec out of anything on the stamina path. They're gimping invincability so I don't want to drop any of my other defenses as I'm going to need everything I got just to be a semi functional tank again. (They're making unyielding a mobile power-- big whoop! I don't have it and I don't see a reason to drop anything else to get it just et.) I've only got 3 attacks-- I'm still using BRAWL, for gosh sakes-- and I'm not giving up a single attack... Star needs stamina ... but right now the only thing I could give up is radiation infection as we don't use it that much ... but even that could cost the team as it has helped make some hard to hit baddies hittable ... the only other thing I could give up right now is propel, and that's my sole knockback ... I'm enjoying mutate too much, and there are times when I'm the only guy with a rez who's playing so I don't want to give that up either ... As for Blue, I've got all his primary attacks but two, and neither one of those are all that good from what I've heard. I tested every secondary but hot feet with my Legion of Blue Battlers, and I got the good ones. On the pool paths, there's nothing there I would change at all ... And Blue Battlette is perfect, of course. So, yeah. Not a whole lot that respec can do for me at this this point in time.

Hey, would you guys mind terribly much if one of my Blue Battlers on the test server was the one who did the Vahz mission with you guys?

Well, I ended up updating Condo & Mysa on the test server so I can see if the respec does them any good. That puts them at 24 & 23 respectively. I also updated the others on there so everyone is current. Would it surprise you that I have all 8 slots filled on the test server? Nah, didn't think it would surprise anyone!

I just did the respec on Chorus and WOW!
I got rid of a couple powers that I never use like telekinesis and mass confusion and mass hypnosis.
I added stamina and hasten and superspeed. It's worked out so much better. I don't suffer the endurance drain that I did before at all! And speed is nice too, I always hate when im in a TF or team and im the last to arrive. All in all, Im pretty happy. Ill do the same when it goes live!
Touch the magic...

I could do resist elements, I guess, and maybe resist energies to get dull pain.... i think I'll post to the tanker forum to get some advice...

EAP hit 18 tonight. And I have the last mission of the Doc Vaz to do. Was able to do the whole arc by myself except kill Patient Zero (I cleared all but her from the level) and Caroline helped me take her out. So anyone have a character on Victory who can help me with the good doctor? I've never faced him before and don't know if I need help.
Also decided to skip Health (or Hurdle, haven't decided which) and took Dark Consumption now instead of at 22. It drains the life from foes and adds it to my End. With that and Dark Regeneration EAP can solo real well.

I don't have anyone on Victory high enough to be able to help with the doc.
Are we going to do the test server Vahz mish tonight?

I'll be copying Poe over again to help out. I'll probably keep my other Poe there just to do the free respec on him (there's one power I skipped that some DA/DM players swear by). I wonder how he'll be renamed since I already have one Poe and he uses all 15 slots allowed for a name.
But I'm not off work until 7. What time were we thinking of?

I doubt Lyle would be able on until about 9ish Eastern anyway since he's on the west coast so that should work Scott.

By the way I did the respec on Varalent last night to test out how it worked before doing it on any of the others. It was VERY frustrating at first because I couldn't find any info about how you go about doing it. Took a long time to get someone to respond on Request or Broadcast (other than comments like "That's been answered a million times already", which is really helpful for someone who wasn't on when it was last answered! ) Finally someone gave me the explanation I needed and I was able to go do the respec. Here is a description of the process in case any of you don't know how to do the respec: Go to Galaxy City and enter Freedom Corp HQ. Look for Jack Wolf off to the right against the wall in the side corridor. (He's dressed in the red & white uniform of the Field Trainers.) Once you click on him a window will open up and you will begin reselecting powers from the very first on through to your last power just as you did as you leveled up. Once you are finished selecting powers you will begin to assign enhancement slots to the powers. You'll get them two at a time just as you did as you were leveling up and will only be able to place them on powers that were available at that level. Once you have placed all of your slots, you begin reslotting your existing enhancements. The y can not be uncombined so, if you had a 10++ damage prior to beginning the respec you will have a 10++ damage to slot you won't have a 10 and a 9 and a 9 (or whatever the other two enhancements were that you combined wuth the 10). Depending on what changes you made to powers and enhancement slots you may have some enhancements left over that you can not slot. Those will be sold off when you are done with the respec at the sell back price (not the original purchase price) You will get warning click through screens that tell you this will happen once you agree that you are done with the respec. Until that point you can click back all the way to the beginning and make any changes you wish. Once you click yes on that final warning screen about selling back unslotted enhancements however, you will not be able to change anything and your respec is done.

Thanks for the info Vee. Exactly what I would want to know before going through the process.

So should we hit Victory before we go to the test server tonight and get a view of Dr V's "old" lab? I'm gonna need a SK either way, but what would be most helpful? Level 13 Katana/Dark Armor scrapper (Kamisori) Level 10 Grav/Empathy controller (The 4th of July Kid) Level 9 Empathy/Dark defender (Mister Midnight)

Just so you know: You DO NOT have to defeat Dr. Vahz in order to successfully complete the Dr. Vahz mission.
That being said, the good doctor is a tough old bean. Condo died twice before defeating him on his mission, hovering the entire time.
I would recommend using Mister Midnight as the partner. Empathy Defenders are more potent healers and you'll need all the healing you can get. (Make sure MM has plenty of blues. You'll need those for sure!) His dark powers should help weaken the Dr a bit also.

Is Dr. Vahz one of the Arch Enemies? I've not had one or run into one yet.

I think he is.
I don't know if it's a badge mish or not.
Drats.
I'd read someone from someone that if you just kept clicking on an old contact where you had an unfinished story arc that it'd eventually bring it up even if you had leveled past it, but it doesn't seem to be working. Too bad ... I'd like for real Blue to get the badge.

Yes he is and I think you get a badge for defeating him, if you do. BUT IT AIN'T EASY! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
