Wow. Cool. They did use Barry's other designs. Although I'm thinking about reserving my praises for Barry until he delivers us Bouncing Boy (and Matter-Eater Lad)!

Thanks guys - I did enjoy doing this one! I guess so many people seeing the thumbnail and reacting positively couldn't have done any harm Sorry about being relatively quiet of late - been putting a lot into the artwork of upcoming issues and dealing with a heap of domestic stuff so haven't really had a chance to visit the net much! I'll try to get scans for the pencils and inks of the cover to Nightcrawler today!

Nice to see her smiling - although that's a bit of a Mona Lisa smile. Cos & Brainy were pretty grim & grumpy guys in their cover shots.

Awesome cover!! I was a little disappointed that it wasn't used on #16, but now it doesn't matter - we get it anyway!
I never read Legion before this reboot - It's now one of the books I look forward to the most. I don't see it changing as long as this type of quality and T.L.C. is given. Thanks, Barry! Thanks, Mark!

The parallels between this and the Lightning Lad Death/rebirth Saga are definitely too strong to be coincidental.
A new version of a hero with the opposite sex appears? Brainiac 5 playing the role of Saturn Girl and Lemnos has something to do with it. Mon-El came up with the final piece of the plan that Saturn Girl used to revive Garth.

I demand a reprise of Ayla's first appearance for Dream Boy. ie. He pretends to be Dream Girl but is discovered by Ayla who notices that her boobs aren't real.
