I hate that I'm not even "into" this season so much anymore...
I thought Casey had the best solo, followed by Crystal then Lee, with Mike as the one I responded least to.
I enjoyed both duets but I thought Casey and Mike's duet was better than Lee and Crystal's.
According to DIALIDOL, Click Here For A SpoilerMike and Casey are bottom 2 with Casey having a better possibility to go home. Not counting the all-important "MARGIN OF ERROR".

I missed last week's show, but watched all the performances on youtube after. It was appropriate that Aaron would go, and I actually didn't think Casey was all that bad.
Last night, I'm amongst the masses who think the duets were better than the individual performances. I simply like "Falling Slowly" better than the other song, and I really liked Lee and Crystal's version of it.
As for the competition, boy, it's tough! My least to most fave....
4. Lee. I just think he was terrible with that song. Bummer, because I really like him. Still, I'm sure he'll be safe.
3. Mike. Didn't do it for me this time.
2. Casey. So Eddie Veder! He has such a weird idea of song choice. I actually hope it's him that goes home, not Mike.
1. Crystal. A cool version of the song, but just not a contest-winning choice.
I like that there will be returning Idols tonight!

Tonight's results I thought were the right results.
I *loved* Fantasia's 1975-style soul song!!
Daughtry was good too. I skipped Bon Jovi's performance in favor of loading laundry.

Oh, well. I liked Bon Jovi alright, but I can't remember much about the song now. Fantasia was 'pitchy' I thought and Daughtry is so bland sounding to me.
I'll miss Mike.
I'm not really into any of the others anymore, I'm afraid.

I had to switch between Idol and the Top Model finale, so I missed some stuff.
I liked Fantasia, but I already have forgotten the song. I missed Bon Jovi. I watched Daughtry, but lost interest, so turned it to check on the models.
I don't understand why the public doesn't like Mike. He's had very good performances all season.
If Crystal doesn't win, I'll be very disappointed (like last season).

I enjoyed all 3 of them tonight.
I will admit Lee stepped it up a major notch.
Anyone's ballgame I think.

Mike's so much better than Ruban the results make me sad. Hopefully, he'll make a great career out of this season anyway.
I think that Casey is the best musician of the group and along with his looks, that gets him by even when the judges down him.
The last group of 5 or so were a pretty charming and talented group of kids. I hope they all have great careers ahead of them. All of the top 10, really.

Casey did a perfectly fine job with the songs he performed, but the songs were just not contest-winning-choices, IMO.
Crystal did a decent job on her first song and a great job on her second song.
Lee did a great job on his first song and a phenomonal job on his second song!
I still hope for Crystal to win, but Lee totally impressed me tonight!

Casey was okay.
Crystal was good, her second song was sung very well but the fact that the lyrics weren't changed over for a woman seemed really strange to me and kept bringing me out of the performance.
Lee was pretty wonderful the first song, I mean great. His second song had me in tears. I just cried almost all of the way through it. Simon really knows how to pick songs and Lee can really sing them.
I've placed Lee and Crystal in the top 2 for quite awhile, but I honestly think for the first time, that Lee just might win this. And he certainly deserves it.

Well, if DIALIDOL is to be believed, and I think it is, we can expect a finale between Click Here For A SpoilerLEE and CRYSTAL.
And further, if the rather HUGE amount of difference in voting trend is to be believed, and I think it is, we can expect to see Click Here For A SpoilerLEE win the whole thing.
Which, I feel, will be a repeat of last year's "2nd placed finisher outsells winner" scenario.
I won't swear to this, but I think this might be my final season of Idull. I've grown bored with it.

I am, however, totally looking forward to Simon's X-FACTOR next fall.
I hear that on that show, the judges have 50% or so of the say in the outcome.
AI was lOOOOOOOOOOng overdue for either that or for a limit on voting or BOTH (like Dancing w/t Stars has).

Where will X-FACTOR be?
And, no matter who wins this year, I think that at least the top 5 will have many years in the music industry.
And, I know that Adam is doing fine, as is Daughtry so, I think Crystal and Lee with be winners, either way.

X-FACTOR will be right where we find AMERICAN IDOL... on FOX, just starting in fall 2011 and ending presumably before Idol starts in January 2012, if I understand correctly...
I'll be ready for a Simon fix by fall 2011!
Well, I have done all I feel comfortable doing... I have voted for Crystal 1 time for every dollar I expect to plunk down on her CD when it comes out.
Looking forward to tomorrow's finale, those are usually a lot of fun.

Yes, they are.
I liked both of them, tonight. Lee wasn't as fantastic as last week, but Crystal's voice was kind of screechy.
So, it was a draw for me, so I didn't vote. Chickened out, I guess. Oh well, I wish them both well.
PS - Thanks for the info, MLLASH. I'm looking forward to it!

I enjoyed it.
Highlights: Alice Cooper, Alanis Morrisette, Carrie Underwood, Brett Michaels & Casey James, Janet Jackson, Joe Cocker and bringing all the former Idols and Paula back for Simon's tribute (WHERE was David Cook?!?).
Lowlights: The last couple of minutes....
'Bye Idol, it's been fun. X-FACTOR, I await you with open arms!

I thought it was a great show, overall! I really liked Christina A. I was totally hoping Paula would join Janet onstage for "Nasty Boys." I was totally hoping Crystal would win.
Sigh.

I just finished listening to Katharine McPhee's holiday album, "Christmas Is the Time," and it's a marked improvement from "Unbroken." Whereas on "Unbroken" her vocals were almost timid, here she has plenty of moments where she lets loose like the innately soulful white girl that she is. My favorites would be the old-school R & B treatment of "Jingle Bells" (which should have been the opening track, instead of following the dull smooth-jazz treatment of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Xmas") and the almost gospel-flavored treatment of the title track.
Highly recommended.

That Victoria girl may very well be my most fave audition EVER.

Steven Tyler and J-Lo are doing fine as judges; they really want to be there.
I'm not missing Simon at all, which surprises me.
