Caroline didn't get to see the performances last night so we are watching them right now. Slappy wasn't even in key for one note and Constantine's performance was better the second time around.
If I get sucked into another season of this I think I'm going to pick the absolute worst of the lot (think Crazy Mary from the auditions) and create an auto-dial program to jam the lines with votes for him/her. So them what America 'really' wants.

Semi, they were placed together as were Carrie and Bo. Connie & Slappey were asked to join the group they thought they should be in. BOTH went to Bo & Carrie and refused to budge until Ryan anounced that Con was in the wrong group.
It was horrible, because you could tell it kind-of hurt Vonzell and Anthony's feelings, though they kept smiling as best they could.
It was shabby on Con & Slappey's part, and it was shabby on the AI producers part as well.
And Slappey's grinning and laughing after Constantine's departure was announced just made me ill.

I caught the SOB's smiling and laughing when the camera cut to the others. I don't really want to wish ill of anyone, even this bastich, but if he were to step off a curb near me I think my car would have to develop a steering malfunction.

That sort of stuff worked the first season for shock value, but it's tired and disrespectful now. I've lost whatever little taste I had for seeing people humiliated.

Interesting. I personally don't think that has any effect on this competition. Scott got to where he is based on his abilities.

I really think that elimination night should be about celebrating the one who has to leave, instead of goofy guessing games about who it will be. Basically, now the audience gets to talk about how cheesy the show is, on top of how they feel about the results.
I was totally surprised that Constantine was cut. I thought he had tons of fans, certainly more than Anthony or Scott.
So, it's all about Bo, for me now.

Bloody hell, Constantine went? We've been talking about it here at work and have been saying that almost anyone could be for the chop now since no-one really stands out, but we'd assumed that of the ones left Bo, Constantine and possibly Carrie were the safest by far so for Con to go before Anthnony and hideous Scott is a huge shock. Gosh. I wonder if that plays well for Bo in that he's the only rocker left, or badly in that maybe the rockers just aren't getting the votes.

Click on "History of the Pledge"... it explains how their support last year of John Stevens and then Jasmine Trias may have had a fairly sizable impact.

WoW, last night's show totally turned my stomach. Constantine was AWFUL Tuesday night but based on so many of his other performances he deserves to have been in the Top 5, and if he had song as well on Tuesday as he did last night he might still be with us.
Creepy guy should have left WEEKS ago, ugh. He is SO gross! I hate to say it, but he's making it into the Top 3. I also think Simon will either totally become belligerent when judging him (a la Nikki in season 1) from now forward because he is so disgusted that he's still in the competition, or totally back off for fear of getting his zombie/groupie following fired up and continue voting him. The longer Scott stays in this competition, the more of a farce the show becomes, and the more of a pariah he becomes to the judges and most of the viewing audience.

Wow.
Don't get me wrong, it doesn't bother me that I won't see Constantine anymore, but the Scott still being there thing? Weird.
Since it's SO obvious the final two are going to be Carrie and Bo, I'm going to be voting for Anthony and Vonzell like crazy next week. I've never voted for either of them, but Scott must go next week!

Wow, I haven’t watched this show ever, but I just found out some cool news: My cousin Marisa, who’s my age (23) actually dated one of the contestants on this show for about two months or so last summer. He’s the one who just got voted out, Constantine. She met him in NYC and had a ‘fling’ with him for a bit when he was in the play Rent as the lead, Roger. I’ve never seen the show and actually only have a rough idea of what he looks like, but I thought that was pretty cool. So my cousin knew a famous person before he was famous, which is kinda cool, even if I never meant the person

I'm ready for this season to be over, I think! I'm tired of being so into this show, but I just can't quit watching!
I'm "power voting" for Vonzell tonight. I want her in the top 3 with Bo and Carrie. I might even throw some votes Anthony's way--he deserves to outlast Scott!
Anyone gonna watch the "scandalous" report on AI on ABC tomorrow night???

I'm not gonna miss it! It comes on after AI at 9, right?
I think I too will vote for Baby V and Anthony tonight.
Yeah, now that it's May and the weather's so nice and all, time for the AI finale!

Well tonight was fun!
Everyone sang 2 songs each, the first a classic and the second any song from the current top 40.
My rundown:
ANTHONY: Was only "ehh" on the oldie, more at home on the Backstreet Boys.
SCOTT: Alright on "On Broadway", lame on the already-lame Brian McKnight song.
VONZELL: **Terrible** on the oldie, did well on "When You Tell Me That You Love Me".
BO: Did very well on both "Stand By Me" and "How Far Is Heaven".
CARRIE: My surprise of the night; she RULED on "Trouble", showing some believeable spark and is CRAZY not to release it as a single, and did well on the current country tune.
Gotta say, based on tonight it's GOT to come down to Bo & Carrie. I'm still going to throw a few votes Vonzell & Anthony's way though. Carrie's line is locked up tighter than.... well, imagine something REALLY tight.

Still watching it as I promised Mom we would finish Sunday's NASCAR race first.
So what Backstreet Boys song was considered current? I was unaware the group had an album/single out that would be considered Top 40 in the last week.

And I knew Bo would do Stand By Me when he was the one to answer Ryan's question at the beginning. I'd love to hear him release that as a single, always been one of my favorite songs.

Anthony was ok, current song was better.
Don't like scott.
Vonzell was great. I liked the oldie song.
Bo. Great as usual.
Carrie. She finally showed some spark and smilied! She was great on Trouble by Elvis. Showed some great spunk and personality!

Okay, I saw the show (only once so far) and I'm posting without reading anyone else's comments.
From least favorite to most...
5. Anthony...His first song was supposed to be fun, but I thought it was lame. I kept thinking of Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy in the Batman movie... such a pleasant thought.... I forgot about Anthony. His second song was great. I didn't even know the Backstreet Boys were back.
4. Scott... He did really well on both songs. I liked that he exhibited some personality and sass.
3. Carrie...I sorta kinda knew that Elvis song, but after her performance, I want to get to know it and steal it for use at karaoke! Thanks Car! The second song, the ballad, was really pretty and she did it very well. She's a beautiful girl.
2. Vonzell...Her first song ended better than it started, but it was good, overall. Man, her version of "When You Tell Me That You Love Me" is the best ever, and it's been done a few times this season (mostly really short versions). The girl is just stunningly beautiful to look at, too.
1. Bo...I like his style, his song choices, his voice, his attitute, his presence, everything. I really believe he'll win!
