Just in case you didn't know already FCBD is this Saturday!

As usual you can see what comics are available here:

http://www.freecomicbookday.com/comics.asp

If I could grab anything I'd want Iron Man: Supernova, Iron Man/Thor, War of the Supermen, and the War Machine Heroclix.

Atomic Robo and Mouse Guard are must-haves, and I want to check out Irredeemable too.

I've never been able to make it to one of these! frown

I had my store save me a copy of the Solar/Magnus issue, the Superman thing and the Iron Man/Thor thing, but I didn't realize there was an Atomic Robo, Mouse Guard or Irredeemable thing too. I might have to actually find a way to the store that day! I want them all!

Merde, merde, MERDE!!!!

I just don't think I should go today-- the tornado sirens have been going off since 4am, it's been nonstop ambulance, firetruck and police sirens up and down Union Ave, and some streets are flooded.

Frick frick FRICK!!!!

It's official. I ain't going today. Been up all night and wouldn't be at my top performance if there was some trouble on the road, so this can wait 'til tomorrow or Monday. I'll browse through the leftovers.

I got three comics at my comic book shop. The Tick, War of the Supermen, and Atomic Robo. It was the last Atomic Robo they had.

I'm giving some of my old comics away at the library to kids who can answer a trivia question. I don't know that I've ever been on the receiving end of FCD.

I went for the very 1st time to FCBD today. Got the War of the Supermen comic and something from Dark Horse (Dr. Solar, maybe. haven't looked at it yet).

The childhood friend Exnihil never had.

My old comic book guy in SoCal said they'd save/send me the freebies I wanted this year! How cool is that?

KF2F, I wasn't there today (obviously, as my son was being born smile ), but I do go to that CBS a good amount every year. It's a really great shop, conveniently located near Grand Central and they always manage to have a few copies of EVERYTHING.

Do you live in the area or have a hook up via your comic book industry connections? I'm in Manhattan often for work.

My CBS had their free comics already brown paper bagged, and did not let you go pick and choose.

In fact I did'nt think I was going to get any until I checked out and asked if it was FCBD,and he was like oh yeah here you go.

I got both of the DC and marvel books, when I asked about Dr.Solar,Irreedeemable or Atomic Robo ,he said they didn't have anymore without even looking.

When I got back to the car I sent my wife in to get comics for our little boy,and her brown bag had an issue of Atomic Robo in it.

I tried to rip their soul out.I tried to make them forget Superman.
But they won't.
