I didn't see a thread on this. Starts on May 25th with the Return of Donna Troy.

I sorta like it. But I will save judgement until I see how it impacts the look of the comics.

Eh. Doesn't get me. Too one-dimensional. I predict they'll go back to the current logo before year's end.

I don't think so. From what I have been reading here on the net, this is not a DC driven change but a Time Warners change to captalize on DC characters. The logo will probably be changed, but more tweaked then anything.

I guess with all the changes this is just an added bonus.

Towards the bottom, I found this little nugget:

Anyone with contacts at CARTOON NETWORK or DC know anything else about this?

Bring Back the Go-Go Checks. That would get more attention.

Having looked at it again, it's defining feature is... blandness. Even Marvel's plain, bold white-on-red MARVEL leaps out against this washed-out "ping".

You can tell it's been focus-grouped to within an inch of it's life to make sure it won't offend anyone. Which means it'll pass unnoticed, with the sole exception of people who just plain won't like the fact of a change.

I think it's groovy.

But, HELLO! LSH CARTOON!!!?!?!??!

YES!!!!!!! a LEGION CARTOON!!!!!!! I will die happy knowing that there is a Legion cartoon before my time!!!!

I like it too! But the big news of the article is the LSH cartoon. Im in heaven!!!!!

Personally, I don't like it. And having it be linked to news of a Legion cartoon, scares me.

I wonder if the LSH cartoon will show them all evil-looking like the Bugz Bunny characters - Legionnairz?

Maybe if we start a petition ? Actually, Warner paid attention to this 11-year old and supposedly toned down that evil look. CNN story .

now we know why this is called DC SPECIAL: The Return of Donna Troy instead of just Return of Donna Troy.

I think the logo will work. And newsarama has just posted another update with a press release from DC.

Well, I do have to say how nice it is that DC is making a big deal out of Donna Troy. A character that they had previously dumped on regularly.

This gives a little more ompf that Donna will be a major player in Infinte Crisis and why this mini wasn't positioned with the other four infinte minis.

Donna is finally getting her own spotlight.

well when i first saw the new logo on it's own, it make wish thay hadn't chosen to change from the 'bullet' logo, that i have known all these years !!

but seeing it on the cover of the 'DC SPECIAL' it looks kinda cool !! and at the end of the day the content of the actual books [ story/art ] are the most important factor IMO

i didn't realise that the DONNA TROY book was 6 issues long !!?? thought it was only 4 ....

i'm so looking forward to this, DONNA has always been one of my favourite DC characters !! ever since i saw her catch that bomb in 'NEW TEEN TITANS' number 10 !!

i hope we see lots of the TITANS OF MYTH !! they were always my favourite part of her updated origin after the original CRISIS, didn't really like the changes to come later ......

guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens now ???

Yep, that DC logo is nifty!

Ooooh, I shouldn't have come here, now I'm going to have to buy the Donna Troy mini. I had avoided paying much attention to it till now.
