I don't think so. From what I have been reading here on the net, this is not a DC driven change but a Time Warners change to captalize on DC characters. The logo will probably be changed, but more tweaked then anything.

The home video market includes DVD releases of the live-action series "Wonder Woman" and "Lois & Clark" and the animated "Challenge of the Superfriends" and "Static Shock." In toys and related merchandise, DC Direct produces everything from posters, collector's plates and prints to replica costumes, power batteries and lines of action figures from specific artists." Anyone with contacts at CARTOON NETWORK or DC know anything else about this?

Having looked at it again, it's defining feature is... blandness. Even Marvel's plain, bold white-on-red MARVEL leaps out against this washed-out "ping".
You can tell it's been focus-grouped to within an inch of it's life to make sure it won't offend anyone. Which means it'll pass unnoticed, with the sole exception of people who just plain won't like the fact of a change.

well when i first saw the new logo on it's own, it make wish thay hadn't chosen to change from the 'bullet' logo, that i have known all these years !! but seeing it on the cover of the 'DC SPECIAL' it looks kinda cool !! and at the end of the day the content of the actual books [ story/art ] are the most important factor IMO  Matthew.

i didn't realise that the DONNA TROY book was 6 issues long !!?? thought it was only 4 ....
i'm so looking forward to this, DONNA has always been one of my favourite DC characters !! ever since i saw her catch that bomb in 'NEW TEEN TITANS' number 10 !!
i hope we see lots of the TITANS OF MYTH !! they were always my favourite part of her updated origin after the original CRISIS, didn't really like the changes to come later ......
guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens now ???
