One of the most fun parts of the Boston Convention was a chance to meet some of the up and coming future superstars of the comics industry. And I also wanted to meet Jeanie Breeden, Creator of The Devil\'s Panties So when I saw this:  I just had to make a beeline to her booth! Not surprisingly she turned out to be just as fun and whacky as I'd imagined...  And some of the people in her booth seemed very familiar to readers of her comic...

Jeanie's a fun chick. She works (or at least she did -- haven't been there in months) at an Atlanta comic shop; that's how I met her. Only found out much later that that subversive-looking indy trade I saw on the shelves was her work...

I took more pictures of her than I thought...  The Batmanesque tilt was inspired by her trademark tee shirt. Yep, that's my story and I'm sticking to it...

Ack! Jennie Breeden is posting on our board! That's so cool!
I've now missed two opportunities to meet Jennie (whose comic I came to through her LARP comic "Geebas on Parade"). She was at ConBust in Northampton MA (where my friend Jason got to meet her) and now Wizard World Boston. I'm so deprived!
Ok, not really, but I do really enjoy Jen's comics.
