This news makes the horrid week I'm having SO much better! Giffen pencilling? Thank SPACE! (though I would have certainly purchased a non-Giffen-drawn ABug mini only semi-begrudgingly) Also, I was fascinated to read the approach Giff and Flem use on the stories. Flem gets every page cold? MAN, he's good... OhmiGAWD... I just realized... new ABug in July... it's only JANUARY...

I would totally buy one, too. They need to ship it down to DC Direct and get it in production. Or maybe do them as giveaways in San Diego. They'd be the talk of the con.

So, what's the deal with the DC house ad featuring Ambush Bug shining a flashlight under his face? If this is an ad for his upcoming Mini, it's fairly unclear.
Looks more like a tie-in to Final Crisis. The caption beneath the ad reads "Unvictorious", iirc.]
Odd. But that's pretty standard where Buggy is concerned.
Oh yeah, 22 days and counting for YEAR NONE # 1. Yes, I have my calendar marked.

I suspect this same reaction will be felt globally when venerated LMBer Invisible Brainiac approaches said milestone (which must be fast approaching!).

Okay, so tomorrow will be here before I know it.
Now I know some of you in different time zones hit the shops earlier than I would be able to.
What I need is confirmation... confirmation that this book actually shipped. My CBS guy expressed a bit of doubt that the book would ship on time, because Giff... well, it's Giff.
Anyway, I stand firm in my belief that the book WILL ship timely. I mean, it was announced freakin' 6 months ago. Surely it won't be late. That would be cruel... and Giff shouldn't be cruel... to a heart that's true... (true to Ambush Bug anyway)
Anyway, to get myself all revved up even further over this, I read the DCCP # 59 last night, featuring Supes and the Subs!
