The best part is that (in theory), Nova should be able to kick the entire Thunderbolts collective ass. I'd love to see that.

A.Yup. The Marvel U is becoming an ugly place. I'm actually surprised at how many Marvel titles I still buy, but I feel like I'm almost ready to drop most of them (aside from "The Immortal Iron Fist")

Gamora was Rich's lover in Annhilation when they helped lead the resistance against the Annihilation Wave. She's still green too, that just looks like a funky type cover thingie.

And she's been pale since the Furman/Lucas Annihilation: Ronan mini, where she's perma-P.O.ed after being (I forget the precise phrasing, but this is the gist...) "Used, abused and thrown out by the Great Powers of the universe". The upcoming issues will be, AFAIK, DnA's first use of her. Certainly, it's their first use during/after the Annihilation timeframe.

Another great issue, and it captured what I think a lot of Marvel fans feel, or at least would feel if they lived on 616. (I'll paraphrase since its not in front of me): "I think the world's gone psycho, and I want off".
Plus Nova kicked some T-Bolt ass and stood up to Tony in a way that possibly only Cap and T'Challa have done so far. Very well written.
The Penance scene was a heart-breaker but done well enough where its the first time I've been able to accept him as Penance here (Ellis has wisely given us only brief moments with him, to let the 'get used to it phase' for fans pass along smoothly).
Back to space, for A:Conquest! Looking forward to it. Pov and others, I have to stand by this title, it may just be one of the best on the market if the quality level keeps up. I'm a Nova fan, and I think they treat the character with respect and even better, are moving him forward to give us all new stories with him.
